Haven't backread here so don't know if it's been discussed. Sharks supposedly want Othmann, a 1st, and either Chytil/Lafreniere for Meier. Obviously you have to sign Meier long term for that package, but how can you afford another 8M+ player given you only have 16M in cap space next year with what, 14 players signed?.

I’m amazed how stupid the NHL is. All the all star jerseys look the same you can’t even tell who is who.

next year would be the perfect time to go back to the original all star format. This is horrendous and an embarrassment to the sport

They should all put their regular jerseys on after this first game. Epic failure.

Here’s the thing about the ASG. I don’t care about it regardless of what they do because it’s flag football. Let them do whatever I say

This is exactly my sentiment.

It is not a real hockey game people (and pickles), who cares. If the players enjoy it, then so be it.

Thng is, the casual fan or non-fan might tune in and think this is what the NHL is.

Ultimately I agree with that sentiment, but if they are going to do it at least have uniforms where people can tell one team from the other on the ice. It’s embarrassing

Watch them do nothing at the deadline to address our depth and continue to roll Blais.

Probably one last chance for him here. He did just score 4 goals down there haha. Maybe he found his inner Brett Hull

Not the worst move. He's put up 4 goals in 5 games down there, so either he:

a) actually starts playing well enough throughout Feb to the point where we can trade him for an asset/cap room at the deadline,
b) he picks up right where he was when we sent him down and we can be 100% confident in cutting him loose for nothing/burying him, or
c) he plays well enough to be effective on the fourth line down the stretch and in the playoffs (maybe even scores a goal!), which I think we all know is a long shot but probably the best outcome.

Cuylle will be fine. It's not like he was going to change the entire dynamic of our team in his role and ice time, nor will his confidence be shot from this. He may be getting a call up again soon anyways, I'm sure he understands that and will be working hard down there.

I’d say the 3 names, Meier-Kane-Tarasenko…we get one of them. Maybe Motte, Accairi, Ritchie type bottom 6 guy and then the LHD (hopefully ahead of Harpur)No way he his sits in his hands, zero chance he does that. He did 4 trades last year at the TDL.

Blais has a defined role if he were just a good player lol. They wouldn’t have traded Buch for him if they didn’t have a plan for him. Point is they’re going to give him every chance before, like you said, they cut him loose

I’d say Cuylle is a call up for the caps games at least, the ole Tom Wilson factor. He may have to drop them once or twice

No chance they’ve been hoarding cap space for no reason

If he can fill the fourth line role, providing what was hoped at some point this year, then he can have a defined role. If thinking he is a top-six, then we will have major problems.

One of the dad's from my daughter's softball team was in A Christmas Story. The movie was filmed at his school in St. Catharines, Ontario and they let his whole class participate as the extras.

Wolfpack won 8-2 last night over the Bruins AHL team

Brodzinski and Gettinger dominated the scoresheet, Domingue was in net

I don't know if anyone knows what's going on with the Cuylle-Blais situation because neither one of them played
