And Nyquist says he still intends to play.
Spend a pick and have some extra LTIR room until the playoffs and you might get Gustav Nyquist to plug into the lineup then too. Not a bad strategy - BINGO!
Can you put on and take off a player on LTIR or does it have to be three weeks?
With AM injured now they could put him on LTIR, trade for Nyqvist 5M cap hit. Or Murray on LTIR?
Or can you trade for a player thats already on LTIR? |

That would be a nice bit of work for Dubas. - Procrastinator
Would be, 50 points last year.
Not bad this year but you wonder if its the team he's on...could be a good pitch to just swing at and see what happens. |

You can trade for a guy on LTIR I believe, you just need to have the space to activate them when the time comes.
Or yeah you could put AM on it, trade for Gus, then put him on it when AM is ready to go.... There's more flexibility then people think there is. |

Would have to put him on it for 24 days I believe.
I think it would take cap gymnastics but they pay the cap guys the big bucks for this, I am sure it can be done easily.
Seems like a Dubas move. Would be one less move they need to make and likely only costs a mid round pick, maybe you send them Joey Anderson too as he needs waivers to be sent back down. |

No Cap in the playoffs, so if you activate him for the playoffs, don't need to have the space, ie: Tampa.
Trade for him, use the LTIR to add a LW and a LD/RD and then when the seasons over, activate him for the playoffs without worrying about the Cap.
It would be a slick move. (I think I'm right on how that works) |

My best friend lives in St. Albert, you'll probably get a good deal on a place out that way. Decent access to Montreal. |
