Good, sounds prudent. If we have those two and Sammy locked up, you basically have to find one RHD and you can plug n play your defensive core for the next decade. I haven't been this hopeful for the blue n gold since probably 06.

That's good to hear as well. I really think Tuch is the unsung hero in all this and Krebs will grow...that Achilles injury set him back is all. Due to his age and contract status we might be able to get Peyton's services cheap for quite a while as well. Heavy, heavy vibes.

The contracts are great so far. Although I’m not that sold that Samuelsson is this top pairing shut down D like we thought he was 6 months ago. He looks more like a middle pairing D at this point which means he isn’t some giant bargain like Tage is and hopefully Cozens will be

Let's take a step back. Wasn't he the guy that let Ullmark the all star goalie go. He signed Hall and Staal for some good coin. I'd say he's definitely in the top 32 for GMs but let's see where he goes from here

So he signed guys while under the cap and traded them for picks by effectively using cap space (I could care less about Terrys money) as a weapon. That's exactly what I wanted my GM to do when we were rebuilding.
