Just generally timely saves for upl, not always spectacular. Seems to be a gamer....
As originally defined by War On Ice, 'Scoring Chances' indicate shots attempts that are taken from areas of the ice where goals are more likely to be scored. Attempts made from the attacking team's neutral or defensive zones are excluded.
Inside the zone, a shot is assigned a value of 1,2 or 3, depending on where it was from. A rebound shot (defined as any attempt made within 3 seconds of another blocked, missed or saved attempt without a stoppage in play in between) adds a point to this value. A blocked shot decreases the value by 1.
'Scoring Chances' are any shot attempts with a final value of 2 or higher. 'High-Danger Scoring Chances' are any shot attempt with a final value of 3 or higher

Love the revisionist history on Ullmark.
Most said he was injury prone and average, and were fine with letting him walk for the price, iirc…
This season is the first season he has been healthy and excellent.
He always had a winning record here and his sv% was always good. His positioning was terrible and he let in a lot of softies.
He is peaking at 29. Right when a goalie tends to reach his prime potential or not. It took 2 years in a system and the best team in the league for him to be what he is this season.
One could argue he would be terrible in our current system and his goaltending coaches in Boston have gotten the best out of him.
Maybe he is the one that got away. I haven’t thought twice about letting him walk.
It was the right choice then.
Not bringing in a legit replacement was the bigger issue, imo.

He peaked when he was able to stay healthy and play with a legit D. But yeah, I hate to say it but this is all true. Many of us wanted to keep him and Adams tried. He made it pretty clear through his demands that he didn't want to be here.

Not saying I wanted the Sabres to trade for Bo Horvat
What the islanders paid for Bo was dirt cheap. Canucks got crushed on that trade - Sabretooth9
They absolutely did. I would have thought that they would have had to pay a premium to get him more than a month ahead of the deadline.
That said... this is a good example of why it is tough to have a guy running your organization that is near retirement. He isn't going to be around when this mess needs to be cleaned up.
