What you looking to spend?
Best tablet is always an iPad.
You just want it for the sake of it just get a cheap Samsung. If you use a tablet like a computer, go ipad. - BeadyEyedDouche
Thanks Beady.
I am a Droid user for sure. Don't like the Apple products compared to the Droids and the bullshyte Apple User/Password app where the Password can't be retrieved/reset by Customer Support is fvcking crazy.
I've tried an Apple PC, the iPad and now am forced to use their friggin phone for work...the hate runs deep, lol. |

No arguing Girgs solid possession metrics, but all it does is waste 11:00-14:00 minutes a night. He sucks on the PK as well. $2.2m is about $1.5m too much. All your trolling aside, you know this.
Is UPL your starting Goalie for the next 3 years?
He plays much better in the NHL than AHL I’ll give him that. Let’s see how the rest of the year plays out…IMO he needs to drive his Sv% up to around .910 by the end of the season through having played ~35 gms. - IonSabres
Girgensons (all trolling aside) gets some top line matchups. Especially to start the game. That's gotta count for something.
As much as girgensons brings down okposo and the flavor of the month center, how much are they bringing him down?
Guy shows up to work and doesnt need to be baby sat or really coached up. He is was he is.
Longtime nhl veteran with vibes and likes buffalo.
As for goaltending. I've seen enough out of upl to ride him to the playoffs this season. Gotta take legit look at him , in the nhl , under pressure.
This isnt a throw away season by any stretch, it's still a growth and evaluate season.
All kidding aside, I appreciate the banter and I think you bring some great points to the board
Very occasionally 😀

We really need 285 posts about a failed 1st round draft pick hanging around as a not physical 4th liner who doesnt score either. It's a win/win for content. Less blogs and more Girgs takes in every one of them. - lacaprup
Solid post paulacap.
I try and stay out of the girgensons talk.
It just seems like everyone is always posting about him?
I'm not sure if this is the proper term, but girgensons is a polarizing figure.
I'm gonna try and stop bye and say hi vs. Calgary
No girgensons talk please. |

You speak as if there is only one model - Slump Buster
You speak as if all ipads are 1000 dollars.
A currently last-gen 64gb ipad for 320 dollars is more than enough for a casual user, and you have the added security of an apple product.
The new model is only like a hundred dollars more.
I actually am torn right now between the 64gb ipad and the new mac-mini, but leaning toward the new M2 mac mini only because I prefer a desktop to a tablet. It’s twice as much, but for 600 bucks it’s a phenomenal machine and incredibly fast. |

"If we don't make the playoffs it's because we can't stop the puck. "
we scored 7 goals in those 5 losses for 6k
6k is 12-4-1 in his last 17 starts
and you literally give him no credit
blaming the goalie is the lazy way out - homiedclown
Making the big save at the big times of a game , can't really be measured statistically.
Sabres play for upl. He makes big saves, thus the impressive winning numbers.

It took me a solid 2 years to appreciate apple over android.
Android is more user-friendly for sure.
Apple will always put out a more nuanced but higher quality machine than android.

None of that means UPL is going to all the sudden start posting a .930% to drag his .889 up to .910 by the end of the year. Maybe he gets to .900% by the end of the year, and if he does it means he played around .910 - .915 for the rest of the season. I'd be impressed. And that's where I've been all year for Sabres goalies. Stop 9 out of 10. - lacaprup
You shoot from the hip too much.
His Sv% is .899 not .889
It isn't impossible to move to ~.910. Needs a run rate from here on out of ~.922.
Btw, that "~" means I'd settle for .907 as well. |

Sometimes you could put the numbers aside and find a winning formula.
I really like upl. I'd let him run with this team , give him a true chance to take the reigns.
Something like 6 first time goalies at the allstar game?
Thought I heard something like that?
Sure , its fan vote ect.
But, maybe it's a tough position and tough to be consistent? The great ones are... but how many great ones are available? |

Fuhr definitely came to mind.
He was fat and terrible when he was a sabre.
Very similar to the Edmonton heyday, high scoring. little defense. Make key saves. Win the game by outscoring the other team. |

They are more reliable functionally and better for security.
I'm not very worried about security as I don't visit dangerous sites and don't open emails I dont recognize...so the risk is lower.
I appreciate the input though. |

I think they tried to keep ullmark. Even if we offered an additional buffatax.
He chose 1st place over dead last place when he left.
Also , ullmark was definitely injured frequently and wasnt as good last year....
He was likeable. But mostly for his helmet |

How happy would Sabres fans be to have a goaltender play 41 games and have a 917 save percentage? |
