I would not overpay for Barbadhev due to last season's anomalous production.
Where do you play Ritchie in the lineup?
Do you put him with Cozens, and rotate the rookies like Quinn and Peterka from game to game?
Can Ritchie even keep up with a speedy line?
What line would Domi Center? Is he playing over Krebs or Jost?
They could have him play wing on the Cozens line while rotating the two rookies mentioned above, and take faceoffs when needed like Skinner does for the top line.
This would be an interesting trade target from Chicago, but I have no idea why they'd want to trade him.

Think everyone is trying to figure little moves out, cause they believe that's all Adams will do. Seems everyone is trying to find some physicality in trades for the Sabres.
And that's not a bad idea with Raddysh, I actually did a AGM with him and Murphy. But I deleted it cause I couldn't figure out where to send Joker. |

Of the three mentioned, I don't like the fit of Ritchie or Barbashev.
Domi is the only one of the three that makes at least a little sense. |

Agree, I mean if you're looking for hits and some physicality go and get Timo, atleast he brings the whole package. I would love to add grit but he needs to be able to play and skate. In 2yrs the Sabres are just gonna steam roll teams with there speed on all 4 lines. Gotta be someone who can skate along with the grit. |

My biggest concern with adding whatever a stay at home defenseman means in modern hockey, is their ability to keep up with the Sabres pace of play. |

Again I am starting to agree with this. I am moving away from Murphy to a Klingberg or Fabbro. Even Matthew Benning would be a decent addition. He wouldn't bring much offense but he is a good skater with a good 1st pass.[/img] |

Going all out for offense is why I'm interested in adding someone like Gostisbehere.
He can play LD or RD, and could solidify the 3rd pair. |

Johnson is becoming more of a needed signing. His skating and outlet passes are top notch. |

Maybe he guaranteed the Sabres he was signing and he is our big move
Because 95% of the time a player comes out of college. They come to play on the big club and burn one of their ELCs |

Just an fyi from my source
Don’t expect any rentals. Adams wants term if they trade for anyone decent.
Term and decent cap hit. That is why I mention chycrun
Timo Meier is 95% not happening due to his cost and lack of term and wanting too much money |

Unless Arizona comes down from there asking price, that isn't happening. For what it would take to get Chychrun I would rather get Timo. |

Maybe you have that guy that can skate with the grit already?
Maybe right underneath your nose? |

Wouldn't it be fun to have a futuristic look at a new NHL. Each country has its own league with players born in that country only allowed to play. Club winners from each country play in world playoffs to establish the world champions.

Nick Schmaltz would fit the bill as a guy who has term that Arizona could be moving for assets.
Not a d-man, but an upgrade to the middle 6 with a reasonable cap hit and signed for another three more years after this year. |

Leaves mods got him. No idea for how long. He always had solid Sabres posts though and I miss his takes on the team. - Gr8daygo

Nick Schmaltz 5 hits this season
Lawson Crouse 107 hits
I think Crouise would open the ice more for cozens or krebs long term in the middle 6 |
