And a great cup run last year

he's an important part of that team... I get the argument that he didn't fit with where the habs are right now but I can't help but feel he was strongly undervalued in MTL for most of his time here.

Been a feel good story in a year of injuries and misery. Might as well ride the wave.

Yeah, I always liked him a lot as a player. People shat all over him, but he was always a 100% effort guy, showed the ability to score and create... look how he had thrived in Colorado.

The player was not the issue.

Glad for him.

I get the excitement, even though people that are saying he'll be even better than Gallagher might want to take a chill pill lol, but yeah it's a great story for sure.

kinda wish he had gotten a "fresh start" with the new management team in MTL, but he probably needed the change of scenery, and 100% deserves everything he's getting in COL.

Riding the wave that a 7th round midget is having a decent run as a 24 year old, not that he's going to be one of the best net front presences in the league and a 30 goal scorer (when healthy).

Gallagher is broken.

Time has caught up with him, not sure he ever plays a full season again. Dude sacrificed his body for the team. Literally.

HRP is probably better than Gallagher, given Gallagher's health, right now. But he has a long ways to live up to being a Gallagher.

yeah, the point was he most likely will never surpass what Gallagher achieved, and not to compare him to what state Gallagher currently is in lol.

So the Canadiens wear those UGLY blue uniforms in honor or in memory of the Montreal Expos but yet the Expos left Montreal because nobody cared and they couldn't draw enough fans to the games. Okay. Now I get It. FYI. End the Arber Xhekaj experiment. It's tired and old, I'm sure he can get his old job back at McDonald's.

sorry but I find that's a terrible take. it takes skills to keep up with high-end talent and actually be effective.

They guy can put up points, he sucks defensively.
