meh, they're able to compete, just not on a regular basis. if they played the way they were playing like they did against BOS or TOR they wouldn't be in this situation. also they keep hitting the (frank)ing posts, which doesn't help either.

It did, but only a few times. Allen, it seems to be a regular thing. I get the team sucks but constantly allowing bad goals early is sure to break their morale.

not to say Montembeault hasn't been great lately (he really has), but he did have a tendency to let in soft goals as well. that being said, Allen has been regularly injured and might be less valuable than he has been for the habs...
