The refs didn't influence the game. On the Smith catch, it looked like a good catch on the field. The Eagles were smart enough to hurry up and run a play before the replay could be looked at. That's the game. - MJL
I understand thats the game but to me it should be allowed to be blown dead to take a look cause its weird a team can cheat blatantly, if its missed just hurry the play and get away with it. But for now its the rules of the game so meh.
4th string qb ain't going to get it done. Philly had a cake walk along with all the bad penalties.
No need to stay so angry….it wasn’t a 10-7 game it was 31-7….they put up points against the leagues toughest D. Yup, got some breaks. Thats football. I thought the teams coming in were some what evenly matched….thought the score would be close but the Eagles got some great breaks. Whom ever they play they come in as a team that’s just as good in every aspect of the team.
I just think across the board they match up very well against either. - landros 2
Eh... I think the 49ers defense tried to overcompensated and made some bad plays. Special team messed up at least once.
Solid effort by eagles defense.
I am just hoping an eagle fan eats horse poop in the streets again

Where do you draw the line? Are you going to stop the game and take a look at every catch that is not obvious?

The Niners coaching staff screwed up early when they made the decision to try and block #7, can't say his name on here, with a tight end. That led to the hit that injured Purdy.
Someone will probably find something worse to do this time around.
BTW they're already defeating the greased poles:

Of course they are. Man the bad part about making the super bowl is for 2 weeks these stories is going to run in the media about eagle fans. It shouldn't be. Focus should be on how good the team is.
That’s why they have challenge flags….I actually like the way it is set up. - landros 2
You can't get a challenge flag down fast enough and you're penalized before your booth can take a look. Could there be more time given before a play is allowed? Refs have slowed down "hurry up" before, unintentionally or intentionally I don't know.
Tippet has started to blossom….Frost continues to build on his first full season. JVR gets moved.

I’m excited to see a bunch of the young guys in the last 30 games or so…guys like Cates and Allison really have me intrigued going forward - landros 2
Same here.. thw future is our youth and young guns and they are playing good hockey lately.
Tippet looks like he is progressing, as does frosty (haters in shambles)
Cates is fsr from a 1C but he is learning the position on the fly and doing pretty well, all things considered.
York.. he is a stud! I am excited to see him develop.
Brink is looking good for only being on game shape for a couple of weeks...
TyFo is putting it all together down there..
Hart is playing great.. Ersson is putting healthy pressure on him. Farabee is returning to good health
It's exciting to watch the kids develop (credit to Torts from me) even though we still suck (which is why we sell high and commit to the rebuild)
I love TK but am on the side of selling high on him.. we aren't close to contention
Provy may need a change of scenery but only for the right price.. him and York are solid

Talking with my friends my point actually comes down to we hear all the time "we need to get the call right!" and then it's "hurry up so they can't get the call right!". So do we want cheating/missed calls as "part of the game" or do we want to "get it right"? It can't be both.

But if a team wants the same guys on d with out substitutions they run a hurry up….it’s part of the game. I get where you are going, but every play can’t be a slow mo replay….

Missed calls are what games are made of. Missed plays and mistakes are what sports are made of….who makes less mistakes mostly wins. My coach’s alway told me if you are not cheating you are trying hard enough….lol. Just don’t get caught.

Well the leagues have shown this isn't actually true. Why have video review at all if missed plays "are what sports are made of". That's my point. Leagues can't have it both ways.
