Don't you have to intentionally break a rule to cheat? Did the player step out on purpose intentionally? The mistake is made by the official, not the player. The player had nothing to do with getting the favorable result. Not sure how you can consider that cheating.

I know Dawkins is up there for a lot of people and obviously Kelce as far as all-time favorite Eagles go, but Johnson might be mine. Guy is quietly putting together a HOF resume and has played through a ton of adversity in his career. His value to this team is shown in the Eagles record with him and without him in the lineup.

IMO Torts deserves the Jack Adams this year and its not even close. Monty inherited a great team in Boston and Brind'more has been with a great team for a while now. But what Torts is doing with this roster plus the injuries plus the culture around the team starting this year, its really incredible the Flyers are even winning as much as they are. I don't think you need to do much coaching for the Bruins or Hurricanes to win, but coaching has been the biggest part of this year's Flyers team so far.

Can we stop prattling about any supplementary league awards for the time being? There's only one true NHL award and it's actually not an award, but a reward. And with the way this hapless franchise is currently set-up, it ain't gonna be rewarded with it for years to come.

It remains to be seen if Torts can be the coach to help get that reward, though. But I really have my doubts without a near-perfect roster.

Horvat gives a glimpse of what TK trade could get. I would assume a better quality prospect along with the 1st and a roster player because he is younger and under contract for 2 more years
