I’ll be stunned if Kravtsov is still a Ranger by 3/3
- Slimtj100

Kravtsov in 27 games at 5 on 5.

64.18 GF%
52.73 CF%
50.36 xGF%

1.26 GA/60 and a 2.24 xGA/60. On ice save % .955

If they trade him, it'll be a mistake.

Hes definitely not going to be, I just wonder what they can get with him because I cant imagine his value being much.
- aecliptic

He’s going for the rental imo. Whomever that may be. Him and first should get us something half way decent I’d think.

Eliotte Friedman is saying that Canucks are probably going to trade Thatcher Demko

if they do I wonder if they'd be interested in Dylan Garand?

he's from Vancouver, played junior in Kamloops and was Team Canada's goalie two years in a row in World Juniors

What are we getting back for Garand? We already know Boeser's QO makes it a no go to resign him.

I meant, what are we getting back for Garand.

I think trading Garand would be a mistake. After this year we dont have a backup and Garand allows us to have a cheap, ELC goalie. Letting us spend cap in other places.

maybe but I wouldn't rule him out being a trade chip, and Vancouver doesn't seem to have any goalie prospects whatsoever

Were we ahead of Seattle to get Tolvanen? I see we got upset with this, but what can we do if we weren’t ahead of them. I’m not sure how that works with who gets higher waiver claim and all
- Slimtj100

Reverse order of league standings, with the last teams to make a waiver claim pushed to the bottom. Not sure who had first crack, as I don't know when it happened. Right now we are the team right ahead of Seattle in picking order.

Tradiing a cost controlled, skilled winger putting up qualities numbers on a 4th is going to back fire. They already got ride of one those and it blew up in their face.

I was suggesting Podkolzin last year, had a pretty fair rookie year with VAN, was kinda surprised he was sent down to the minors. However, in that is the difference between the 2. Podkolzin isnt above growing, learning and getting better... Kravtsov thinks hes too good to be in the minors, yet hasnt proven anything to make anyone believe that.
- aecliptic

Could be.
I tend to think there is more chance it was about earning $70k compared to what he was earning in Russia. I could easily be wrong, but...

I know I still am, and if they just simply add Acciari at the deadline we would have Cuylle, Acciari, Goodrow or if its Fischer than it would be Cuylle, Goodrow, Fischer. My concern is GG's trust in Cuylle come playoff time and whether or not he would prefer someone with a bit more mileage on them.
