Panarin is a ppg player right now after losing a center he had chemistry with and getting his linemates switched on and off throughout the season. He is the least of our issues. |

Who’s mad at him? He’s getting paid $11 million a year, he needs to play like it. I’d say his play is more of a continuation of last post season more than not having Strome. - nyrangers9479
It’s a tough love feel to it🤷🏻♂️need to play like it? Yea I agree, but he needs help to do that |

Thing is it’s getting late into the season now. PpG is fine but we all say how he isn’t the same since the playoffs. He really isn’t |

You are arguing against yourself. I agree with you he needs good linemates... now you are saying he isn't playing well.
He lost his center for christ sakes that he said he had great chemistry with and is still a ppg player after getting a revolving door of linemates this year! |

He has no option when he enters the zone like he does to facilitate and make plays. I’ll give ya that him Zib needs more time to develop. Maybe thats what they’re waiting for, and then decide how approach the TDL. Bottom line is we aren’t winning a damn thing if he isn’t at his best. We can argue all day about it and but it’s still the truth |

JT Miller, Nichuskin, Ryan Strome, Klim Kostin, there’s tons. Dylan Strome going from AZ to CHI, etc - nyrangers9479
I still don't buy this as a frequent thing.
JT Miller needed 2 changes and a real (frank)ing wake up call. Ryan Strome has turned back into a pumpkin. Klim Kostin? Is that a joke?
I just think this is a fan thing and not something that should really be a trade philosophy. |

I think its rare but also happens. Could be a variety of reasons. Teammates, location, family, etc. Things affect players differently. Don't think you could dismiss it, but also dont know if it would be a main reason to make a trade |

Ryan Strome turning back into a pumpkin is a perfect example of change of scenery…… stunk with EDM, change of scenery to NYR and was good. Now stinks again.
Kostin was traded for literally nobody, and has put up decent numbers so far. Chiefs said he wouldn’t even take Laf for Kostin right now 😂 which I strongly disagreed with, but it shows he went from a bust to a serviceable player with upside.
Tolvanen is another one, waived by NSH, has 8 goals in 15 games with SEA. Small sample size, but we’ll see how he does with them. |

Apparently Kostin is beloved up there after leaving StLouis. He’s not breaking records or anything, but I see his point on him. It does happen tho, change of scenery occasions. I brought up Kravtsov for Podkolzin on cap friendly because of this, to which I’m now hunted on cap friendly too |

Were we ahead of Seattle to get Tolvanen? I see we got upset with this, but what can we do if we weren’t ahead of them. I’m not sure how that works with who gets higher waiver claim and all |

Some players fit better in systems, always have, always will. Elite players adapt better, but Panarin needs someone who sees the ice like him. Not Trocheck’s strength, as he is better with Kreider and a Vesey type. |

I was suggesting Podkolzin last year, had a pretty fair rookie year with VAN, was kinda surprised he was sent down to the minors. However, in that is the difference between the 2. Podkolzin isnt above growing, learning and getting better... Kravtsov thinks hes too good to be in the minors, yet hasnt proven anything to make anyone believe that. |

Because he has enough time to qualify with 2 lines. He's been good despite what the counting stats say. |
