I just don't want to root for him idk what to say. Call it a personality flaw if you must. If PITT is swinging for the fences i'm sure they'd add someone else if not him - picklerick
As terrible as his behavior was, and there were issues for sure, that's in the past. He's probably (hopefully) matured by now. Although by today's standards no one can redeem themselves. |

Bread isn't even our 3rd best player this season. Fox, Mika, Shesty in no particular order are all probably more important to our success right now. He has been and could easily be that guy, but right now he's not. NHL beware if and when he gets going again - picklerick
Panarin has looked Pedestrian this year. I can't wait to see him get going. I think it might be right at the perfect time. |

we have Panarin and the best goalie in the Metro, and I am sure Kane is aware we were two wins from the finals last year - jimbro83
Yeah, like I said, I cant explain it. It just seems watching them something is off, even compared to last year. Plenty of time to go though. Maybe they are saving some energy, because damn they ran out of gas in the Tampa series, after the first 2 games. |

I think this team has more talent than the 2014 team. - JRR1285
I can’t find it now. But I saw last night someone said all it could possibly take is Kravtsov, Robertson, one of the first rders and second rder. We have to be willing to do that |

While Kane is not an exemplary Human I don't think he is a complete PoS either. I'd have little issue with him suiting up here aside from the cost to acquire. - JRR1285
The cabbie assault, the girl, Kyle Beach. To me it's a pattern. To others maybe only the cabbie thing is something they believe is real or something he has responsibility for and isn't a deal breaker. All I can say is how i feel. I won't be devastated but i'd feel a bit conflicted. |

That team seems different than this one. This team just seams a little off for whatever reason. Can't put my finger on it, but I'm not as confident with this team. Either way, I just hope whatever moves they make are smart. - mdw7413

I think the Kyle Beach thing is the worst part. The cabbie poop is a really dumb younger person bad choice. The girl is concerning but it sounds like it might have been at worst a he said she said thing, and at best someone looking for a payday.

Zib line and Chytil line look good, its the other 2 lines that have me worried, especially during the playoffs |

I have never wanted a player to be a ranger as bad. I think that’s coming across here among the 100 that I’ve wanted over the years, he’s #1 |

That’s a huge key to this too. We simply cannot have an 11 mill player be pedestrian. He needs help. Strome left and he hasn’t found his Robin yet |

Going off what I recall and this:
The Erie County District Attorney's Office later declined to press charges against him, stating that the complainant's allegation was not sufficiently substantiated by credible evidence.[68] It later came to light that the complainant's mother had orchestrated a hoax in which she attempted to make it appear as if critical evidence had been tampered with. |

Sure. It could've been that absolutely. If it were just that my feelings may be different. Ultimately, if we get him i'm sure i'll square it in my head. |

I don't like it either. I tend to believe where there's smoke there's fire. But Kane has been on the straight and narrow for a while now (it appears). Unlike that other Kane. |

It’s literally all because of one chart, maybe two lol. It’s so stupid
Let’s not even mention the revitalization of Kane leaving a dumpster fire and entering into a playoff run. That is also a huge factor that goes clearly unnoticed - Slimtj100
It has nothing to do with any chart.
Here's my rationale, we are currently 9th in league standings. We have a legitimate claim on being as big much of a contender as pretty well any other top team. This puts the onus on the players to pick up their socks and do what it takes to knock off the other teams trying to do the same thing.
In my mind, trading 4 assets for Kane might improve our odds of winning this year somewhat, but not enough to change that fact that we still need to outplay really good teams. Absolutely nothing will be guaranteed except that we would be worse off overall in trying to replicate this status for the next 5-8 years. |
