Honestly, I don't know. I like Horvat. I don't hate what they gave up but I don't love it either. I just don't have any idea what the plan is.

If they extend him, it's another 28yo signed into his mid-30's at a premium price for a guy who isn't likely to replicate his offensive production from this year, which is well above his career averages.

If they don't extend him and let him walk I am completely and totally confused.

I guess the only other option would be to see how it goes for the next month and then flip him at the deadline if they're still clearly outside the playoff picture.
