trying to figure our equivelent

- hubie

the equivalent would be top 12 protected first rd pick, Aleksandr Kisakov and Casey

You understand Raty was drafted 52nd overall, right?

And Kulich was drafted 28th?

Kukich is also a year and a half younger and already outperforming Raty in the AHL.

do you have someone closer in terms.. its not nadreau?

you dont know that a 8/8.5 is higher than 6/5. looks like school have failed another one

Raty's potential is lower at this point than Nadeaus... Dobber shows in there chart..

Give me the guy that works his butt off, Over some snobby kid.

Wasn't he supposed to be top 5 his draft year??? He dropped cause of his attitude

You can't just go by where the player is picked.

Kisakov is a good example of that.

You have to include other factors like age and performance since they've been drafted.

Lots to consider.

Nadeau is already a better player than both Raty and Kisakov

It wasn't just a bad attitude.

It was the level of effort he often gave on the ice that was lacking.

Believe Lambert had a similar issue.

that sounds right, lambert sounds like eichel where hes been great all his life told how good he is and now that he has to work he wont do it.

Sabres get Timo yet? I wish they’d hurry up, my clothes are going out of style.

Gonna suck having to wait for games after AS Break, but talk about a game to go to? That Flames Saturdee Matinee game out of the break is gonna be sweet.

There's even more of a need for one high end forward prospect if you are dealing for a player like Meier and plan on extending him, as you're going to need a number of prospects that hopefully a few of end up being impact players for you on ELC deals.

This draft is loaded. Do not trade the pick. They're going to need that ELC production down the road.

- kingcong39

Makes you wonder if Mitts would be in the trade.

I think it would be a summer thing as a cap move for the Wild. He could replace either Gus or Okposo.
- Hank Balling

I think they are keeping Asplund around now because he's the Girgs upgrade next year.

I don't care if they move him. If Donnie can't figure out how to use him now, why should I?

Marty and duffer had a similar statement

Equated the islanders trade for horvat

2023 1sr rounder protected = same
Beaulieu = casey
Raty = ryan Johnson, then changed it to a 2nd rounder I believe. Johnson being that late 1st/ high 2nd. Minus the pending ufa status

Also, if there was a (way to early) redraft I dare say that Kulich would be near the top 10. I know it is early but it feels like he and Ostlund should have been flipped in their spots.

He was stellar analytically under donny last year but has taken a big step back this year. Idk why exactly but if his defensive metrics aren't good and he doesnt score, well...

Think there's a few things going on. First, he hasn't been used with much consistency. Second, he's not really a C. Third, he fits well with Mitts + VO, but those two were playing poorly at the time and Mitts isn't really a C either. Fourth, Donnie just doesn't care much about defense or matchups.

Jost was an upgrade. Brings a lot of what Asplund does, but is an actual C.
