he was brought back to help ease Quinn and Peterka into the lineup. The expectation was that he was going to be a rotational forward and carry additional load if JJP and JQ struggled.

Sure, staff thought Elmer asplund could actually play in the nhl.

The other guy has mostly played wing thru out his career.
The center whisperer gave him a chance, then moved him to a comfortable position.
