Hopefully Beniers is good to good after the break. Beat the lowly Blue Jackets but he’s an important player we need for the playoff push.

Lots of speculation by local media but no answers from the team yet. We’ll know more this week, if he goes to Florida for the all star game…

A cheap add could be someone like Nick Jensen from Washington, if they slip out of the playoffs.

I wonder what it would cost to get Ryan McDonagh from Nashville - provided he would waive his NTC? Three more years at $6.75m but actual salary $8.4/$6.93/$4.2

Another guy who might be available is Scott Mayfield from NYI. Pending UFA, 6’5” 220lb Right shot D. Not a lot of offense, but kills penalties, hits and blocked shots and is a plus player.

Id say no to McD. He is sooooooo slow. Watched him vs Ducks and he was just He is really not one to bring in. Now Mayfield? Yes. Fits the physical defensive back end types we have and think he would be a great add. Id spend the asset to get him in. Especially with Schultz on IR.

Schenn would be an ok bottom add too really.

Yeah hopefully back soon. Him out really does change things and his absence is noticable. Fingers crossed.

Hayden and McCormick headed back to Coachella with the break.

Going to be very interesting to see what Francis does. Thing is he is very patient. Im not expcting him to go crazy here.

Can’t say I’ve watched a Preds game in a long while, was just musing about a guy with a lot of playoff experience that didn’t really work out with the new team this year.

Francis has two second and a fourth this year, plus a third next year that would still leave the team with at least 7 selection each year.

Not in favor of moving a first round pick, and would prefer to only tinker with the lineup, no major changes.

No Kraken player at the ASG, first in their division

Way to pump up your new team, and one of the bigger revenue earners NHL, great job.

Yeah. Not sure they couldnt have taken someone else there. Then again not like the ASG matters. Could care less save it allows a nice rest/recharge for our guys to heal up and go into the last legs of the regular season here.

I agree, for me it’s no big deal, I won’t end up watching any of it anyway, but if you are trying to grow the game, leaving your newest franchise off the board is a weird way to do that. Though you can hardly blame them, what with how big of a star Chandler Stephenson is and all.

Also note the 6th place Canucks have two players attending…

Edit, now one

🤣

Thank god that ends the rediculous Horvat/Seattle nonsense though.

Unless NY stumbles, doesn’t have a new contract in place and decides to flip him at the deadline…

Yeah but that trade then isnt going to necessarily net a hell of a lot for Lou. It was and is a really strange move there for the Isles.

Now if the Isles want to send Mayfield our way for a pick and or a lower level prospect hey Im all for that. Would be a really solid addition on the back end.
