You're quite the charmer aren't you?
First I give my opinion and y
ou tell me to stop over simplifying and now what I write is bullpoop. Awesome. Next time someone decides to call your opinion bullpoop you have zero right to be upset by it and overreact like you do so often.
And here it comes.
I could care less what you think of my opinion, the same opinion you keep trotting out over and over again to the point it's like nails on a chalkboard is the one that's bullpoop.
"They always lose in round one", "they aren't tough enough" and the best part - when they win they aren't "winning the right way". I swear to god you wouldn't be happy if they won the cup because they wouldn't have been tough enough in doing it.
You like "physicality" in the line up (at the expense of wins I guess), Jesus you sound like a dinosaur who refuses to adapt or change and everything is everyone else's fault. I guess the leafs being top 3 in the league brings you no joy and that's just sad but you do you. Maybe you should start to cheer for one of the teams who are built and play the way you want to find some happiness.

Why go off on an unhinged and poorly written rant about it then? |

Being top 3 reg season is fine. Sure, better than bottom 3.
Refusing to change??
Pfft. That’s not me - that’s Kyle and Brendan.
Be honest and look at the teams that actually WIN. They all have a much more significant physicality and size to their game than us.
The most ironic part of all is that Brendan Shanahan is exactly the type of player we could use. |

Willy is definitely getting inserted.
Willy gets the ASG he deserves, AM gets some load management. Works out perfectly.

Calm down, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. It is Hockeybuzz is it not?
You don’t need to attack everyone with a different view.

Interesting stat, in Game 1 Tampa outhit Toronto 56-36, but they lost 5-0.
Remembering watching that game, it never felt like Tampa won because they were bigger and stronger. In fact, it was razor-close and they barely won. They were actually outscored in the series. |

what evs.. - senstroll
It’s not like he is having a record breaking season. I rather them take their time with him and can hopefully heal up whatever other injury that was nagging him a couple weeks ago. Just need him as healthy as possible for playoffs. |

For those of you of a certain age:
Lance Kerwin, a former child actor who played the title role in the 1970s coming-of-age drama “James at 15” and a vampire hunter in a mini-series based on the Stephen King novel “Salem’s Lot,” died on Tuesday at his home in San Clemente, Calif. He was 62. |

Fun fact: Toronto gets outhit most games, because they have greater puck possession most games.
It would be like comparing goalies by saying, "Goalie X made 34 saves last night, but Goalie Y only made 17 saves. So Goalie X was the better goalie."
"Actually, Goalie X made 34 saves on 41 shots, while Goalie Y made 17 saves on 18 shots."

Let’s trade for a Matthews replacement. Leafs go nowhere without him. Trade for the pieces that bring a Cup with him. |

* remembering watching that series
If Tampa is big and tough and hits, and the Leafs don't, then I wonder Tampa barely squeaked out a win in a series where they were one shot away from elimination and in OT and being dominated. I sure wouldn't bet the house on that happening again.

I expect another hardly fought series between the two teams.
Injuries or lack of will play a big role on who has the advantage imo.
