I scrolled down to your last three bullet points.

I agree with 2 of the 3.

Jack Edwards is a god amongst men.

- RickJames77

I agree - the top part is largely bullpoop. I’m not buying the grand conspiracy theory against the leafs, either, especially as an excuse for the lack of physicality in the lineup.

They are currently tied for second place in the league, so I’m interested in your definition of “sometimes.”

P.S. Insomnia sucks.

- Atomic Wedgie

If the softest team is 2nd overall, the league must suck. Just like the Canadian division.

Have you tried magnesium or breathing meditation for insomnia.

I mean, the idea of it is ok, I guess. The white part probably signifies something - the capitol building maybe? - but it looks like a silhouetted female urination device.

The theme is sort of, "America, Hell Yeah!", which I think is what they're going for, though.

Tell me more about these female urination devices and why you like to silhouette them.

You're quite the charmer aren't you?

First I give my opinion and you tell me to stop over simplifying and now what I write is bullpoop. Awesome. Next time someone decides to call your opinion bullpoop you have zero right to be upset by it and overreact like you do so often.

And here it comes.

The same opinion you keep trotting out over and over again to the point it's like nails on a chalkboard is the one that's bullpoop.

"They always lose in round one", "they aren't tough enough" and the best part - when they win they aren't "winning the right way". I swear to god you wouldn't be happy if they won the cup because they wouldn't have been tough enough in doing it.

You like "physicality" in the line up (at the expense of wins I guess) I guess the leafs being top 3 in the league brings you no joy and that's just sad but you do you. Maybe you should start to cheer for one of the teams who are built and play the way you want to find some happiness.

Garland is the absolute worst

Dubas better not…🤬

- mr.sir

Wasn't Dubas was interested in that player at one time?

I hope that interest has faded.

It's definitely the Capitol. I thought it kind of looks like the eagle, which also looks liek a phoenix, has a weird pointy erection and a large, bulbous scrotum.

I agree with MiB.

I think all this team needs to take the next step and go for a nice playoff run...Cup included...is a couple of bangers that can play for real. Not goons, but tougher versions of Bunting but with the same attitude, who if push came to shove can drop the mitts and stand up for the softees on the team.

One bad ass on D and one top six LW and if the bottom 6 doesn't really score much swap in some tougher guys that non-stop hit.

I truly believe that would go a long way to balancing out the softness of this team.

We all know it is the scouting book on the Leafs around the league just go at them hard to win. We watch the teams that can do it, do it every time; and it works more than not.

With 7 games in a round, it's exhausting to keep your head on a swivel and continually take a beating AND win. Without push back it comes at them relentlessly.

I've been paying attention to the players on the other team for the past two years and have watched them: never have to rush a pass, or tense up going into the corner, or worry skating down the wall into our zone, or feel pressure when cycling around our zone or think twice about running around in the crease; never any angst about any of those things at all. Little bumps, an occasionally nice hit, but never big hits that make an opponent think twice.

The team needs to balance some talented toughness with the soft skill. It's a must this year if they want to get by Tampa AND possibly Boston to get to the finals.

Even out the playing field. One team can't just be punished all game. They will ultimately lose. We've all watched it for a few years now.

We need to bring some of the pain to the game for a change.

There are probably a few big skilled guys available for trade this year. They’ll be among the most expensive but there’s a good argument to be made for going after guys like that. Their biggest asset isn’t that they can punish the other team, it’s that they can fight through the bullpoop that comes in the playoffs. They can also look after themselves and throw their weight around as the play dictates.

Real skilled punishers are unicorns and don’t tend to be available. Most punishers have, to be put it politely, a more limited range of skills and are 8 minutes a night guys.

You wanna hear a wacky stat?

In the series against Tampa last year, Tampa's skaters were a combined -21, and Toronto's were a combined +14. Tampa had 7 PP and 1 SH goal. Toronto had 4 PP and 2 SH.

Campbell and Kallgren combined had a better save percentage than Vasilevsky, and the shots were 216-215 Toronto. Tampa escaped that series by the skin of their bag, man.

Are you refering to Jake Angeli, who is currently serving out his 41 month sentence in a federal prison?

The guy who, through his lawyer, said, "He (Angeli) regrets very very much having not just been duped by the President, but by being in a position where he allowed that duping to put him in a position to make decisions he should not have made."

He got 41 months for that? Ha ha ha, what a dumb, dumb idiot.

My favourite is still the guy who tasered himself in the balls and died. MAGA in a nutshell (get it?).

Maple Leafs forward Auston Matthews will be out of the lineup for a minimum of three weeks due to a knee sprain suffered in Wednesday’s game vs. NYR.
