It’s clear whose feelings are hurt here. You failed.

Have a great weekend.

- DrunkenCanuck

Hurt feelings?

I failed because you said so?

I don't know how much more incorrect you could be about either but again if believing that makes your day more enjoyable please by all means proceed - it's nice that you stopped calling me names though.

Have a wonderful weekend cheering for the powerhouse Vancouver Canucks.

Bruce there it is and all that.

root canal AND this...
- you know what to do

- 21peter

I've had a few over the years.

The pain after a root canal is absolutely nothing compared to the pain before that required me to have a root canal.

I remember talking with the dentist before the procedure. He said he was going to write me an Oxycontin prescription. I told him I really didn't want that - a combination of I know they are highly addictive, and I had small kids in the house.

He said, "OK, I'll only write you a little prescription - trust me, you're gonna want these."

HE WROTE ME A FRANKING PRESCRIPTION FOR 20 FRANKING PILLS.

And to top it all off, I was fine - the pain was manageable. Never filled out the prescription.

Could be. Not sure what they're going to do. Last year it was Lindholm and he got blown up in game one of the playoffs.

Only $2.3 million in LTIR space.

They'd have to send somebody back.

Florida added bite to their 1st place team and dropped to out of playoff contention.
- Santo_44

They added a great player who is putting up great numbers but underestimated the players they traded and it hasn't work. It still could?!?!

Weegar was a bigger loss than expected, also their goaltending hasn't been good.

In no way am I saying we gut the team or even trade for a player like Thachuk, or Meier for that matter. I love this team, just don't think the softness all the way thru the roster will work for them in the playoffs...seeing as it hasn't so far.

Adding a Domi type to the LW and a Schenn to #6D and maybe one other guy to Muzzin's spot or the bottom 6 like Motte would be great playoff prepping moves for Dubas. Nothing major, just some splashes of toughness with skill.

ALL I'm advocating for is some players that can push back when things get rowdy.

Not sure why it's so controversial to say the Leafs needs some balls sprinkled thru the line up.

I'll bring a lawn chair to the parade for you, I'm already camping out.

I'll be there and just as happy as everyone else ZZ!!! Whether my concerns of playoff toughness are correct or not.

Now emoticons are the issue and hurt your feelings?

Man you are easily offended aren't you? I'm sorry the internet is hurting your feelings today.

Your bored of my posts but reply to them - seems odd, almost troll-like.

Yawn to all the hot garbage you bring here - past, present and future.

The fact you think I'm actually insulting Carol shows what flew over who's head.

Maybe it's time you go chat with some other west coast friends.

- Cush29

I'm sorry all of this happened Cush! And apologies for my saltiness earlier. I do get a little too frustrated with the team at times, but no need for me to take it out on others with salty language.

I don’t really think Domi adds anything but I know you love him. I’m ready to go after somebody like Meier or Konecny. If we’re going to add a physical Dman it should be someone who can play top 4 minutes. I don’t have a name and I don’t really have a view on Motte but certainly don’t oppose a 4th line upgrade.

That’s the problem. Everybody associated with this team backs down when the going gets tough. Soft serve fans!

Man it's crazy that AGAIN the playoff teams in the atlantic were pretty much set by Jan 1. I see no reason for the leafs to push players like Matthews through injuries with these types of cushions.

Not only that, but the team can perform fairly well without him. I'd be happy with .500 hockey through the stretch.

All good 50.

We are good and had a certain someone not decided to chirp about my post which was to you and had zero to do with him this would have died long ago.

I'm no longer going to reply to that back and forth because it's clear the battle for the last word is priority one and I'm sure you are all tired of reading it. Admittedly there were some bullets in the chamber I never fired off when I was a mod (because I don't believe in being hypocritical despite the opinions of others) and so I emptied the clip.

My apologies for everyone having to sift through the stupidity of it all.

Sincerely,
The former mod/ tyrant and ban angler.

Luckily, three weeks is only 6 games (1 vs Ottawa, 2 vs CBJ, 1 vs Chi, 1 vs Wash and 1 vs Boston). Leafs have ASG and their bye week.
