Jones stats aren’t bad in Hartford. 22 games 14 pts +6. Robertson arent as good, playing more games with less pts and -13

Problem with Jones is, my penis is heavier than he is

I don't care about size. Fox is undersized and his positioning is impeccable. Jones strikes me as someone who will put up point but not be very good defensively, for now. Last thing the Rangers would need going into the playoffs is a defensive liability.

His style is just not a fit right now because of Fox.

I thought one of those two would be the 7th D at least this year so not sure what to make of it.

It is. It's just that somebody refuse to set him up to succeed. But have no fear big bad Ben Harpur is here.

My thoughts exactly. He’s been good for what he is, I’ve had no problems with him. I thought I remembered him being a little more physical, but this preseason he got KO’d pretty bad in a fight. Unconscious. Probably changed his outlook on things.

Harp gets the last laugh as no one has ever heard of Jaime Devane until this clip. I’ll give him credit tho, he genuinely looked concerned

Or the data is my guide.

Your data has been proven to be corrupt, yet you cling to it like its your life raft while you are adrift at sea. Maybe its time that you realize that your over reliance on pure data has given you a flawed view on the reality of this team?

this is so (frank)ing stupid, it's 775k a year it can be buried in the minors if a young guy beats him out, and its cheap enough for him to be a 7th defenseman, you dont want your young guys up here and not playing

Maybe not the best time for that comment. I don’t love every chart either, but if I’m not mistaken, last nights game chart had Harpur as the highest rate game score for a Rangers D.
If anything, todays signing would indicate correlation.
I don’t actually think the fancy stats chart is the reason for the extension, but Harpur’s positioning related to the rest of the team jumped out to me.
All that said, I’ll be (frank)ing pissed if he is the 6th Dman come playoff time because I was calling for his replacement last night.

I support this. He was fine last night. But last night does not make a career.

Such a strange team. Going to trade Horvat and maybe Boeser. Kept Miller. Keeping Kuzmenko.

Miller was signed before the season. Horvat will make a lot more than Kuzmenko. So will boeser. The team is in a weird place

No, I know they don't. They should. They could have avoid many mistakes if that were the case.

Yeah but Miller is royal bumhole. But they could have traded him last year. Now they are stuck with a guy who's clearly a problem.
