They say it all the time he’s looking for the right mix. Don’t look at the record or anything like that

This is the epitome of this blog, killing GG is just something to do because it’s negative. No real rhyme or reason for it, it’s just how the world revolves nowadays. Accent the negatives, and positives be damned

You are funny TJ, saying everyone is negative but after a loss you are the one screaming to trade Chytil and everyone else to get Kane, who is a 34yo player with a hip injury on a down year. Trading for an injured player is just about as negative and desperate as you can get.

Still want to trade an emerging center for a 34yo injured winger???

Was pretty good, wasn't completely full because of the weather. Was right behind the leafs net twice in the 300 level, great seats can see the whole ice. Notice a lot of different things being there live, especially the kids dominating the play most of the night.

the second Chytil goal Kakko was an absolute maniac on that shift

11-4-3 in their last 18 overall, you are the one who used the word RESULTS
- jimbro83

Again, I’m not Tom, so don’t lump me in with any points he or anyone else may make. I just don’t like the guy for several reasons I’ve mentioned many times before. He’s not going anywhere this season so we can stop the straw man arguments asking me who I want to fire him for

The Kid Line was their best trio. Laf was solid last night as well. The main criticism of Gallant last night for me is him not giving that line more ice time to reward their play.

Which I agree with, he's not getting fired. Would I fire him, yes. Luckily for you I'm not the GM.

Partly, yes. Each game is unique. Given how the Rangers play in each of them is also a result.
- tomburton99

Tom, I think the idea you are coming up against is that it's highly unlikely a coach is going to be replaced because of poor metrics while he is still finding ways for the team to win games more often than not.
So, I think TJ's question of who you want to replace GG with when we are not in too bad of a spot is a valid one. One that you have avoided answering so far. I would say that if there is no specific coach in mind and we are sitting in a playoff spot, ideas of changing the coach are not going to be popular.

Oh I know it's not. And I don't have an answer. But I also can't call coaches around the country/world. Do I expect him to be fired? No. They aren't going to do that. Do I want him fired, yes.

I not blowing anyone, you are insane. I just pointed out that TJ is saying everyone is so negative but after one loss your brother wants to give up the farm for Kane who is of course coming back from a hip injury.

Dont get me wrong though, if we can get him for a 2nd round pick im in, but not for anything more. Too much of a risk at his age, even though he had 92 points last year.

But, this is a perfectly valid question. You keep saying he should go, meanwhile he has a .654 winning percentage. So, if winning 2 out of every 3 games is not good enough. Who is it that you believe will be better? If that can't be answered than maybe your opinion of the coach is what needs changing.
