They still happen for some players. Romanov just signed one that made alot of sense for him and the Islanders.

Caufield isn't in that category though, he's a star in the making and will get big money for a long time.

- Scabeh

Jack Hughes got 8x8, same agent (Brisson), Caufield should be just below that so Suzuki terms

It was a valiant effort.

Really like how Dach's progressed. At the start of the season he was purely a perimeter meter, but now he goes to the net at the right times.

He is using his size a lot more, not only to protect the puck, but to check players off the puck.

Similar to Boldy. Wonder if the surgery will reduce his contract. Takes 3 years to fully recover.

Full recovery is 3 years if it's a torn labrum but he will play next seasons and here is hoping he doesn't reinjure it.

it can take up to 3yrs for some people to get back to full strength according to some doctors. He will be ready to play in September...but might not be 100% strength wise

He'll turn that 3 years to full recovery in his shoulder into a career ending knee injury.

unfortunately, cole, you'll never have children now as a torn labrum leaves men without the ability to procreate. women too. i'm so sorry.

oh and here, you'll need these eye glasses going forward.

If the Habs are looking to shore up the right side on D, they should look to LA, Kings a loaded on the RHD but need depth on the LHD, opposite of MTL. How about the Habs trade Struble for Helge Grans....

Hans was drafted in 2020, 2nd round, 35 overall, playing in the AHL now. RHD, 20yrs old, 6'3".

Struble was drafted in 2019, 2nd round, 46th overall, last year in NCAA, 21yrs old, 6'

can't compare an NHL player with a radom dude, cause they do heal faster as top athletes

We don't know for sure but Anderson did say it took him 3yrs to get all of his strength back and even said his shoulder is stronger than before. Habs have not given the details yet on his injury or operation at this point. Engels was saying we will know once he had the operation.

The Athletic podcast mentionned a study that was conducted on professional hockey players.

That doesn't mean he's gonna suck for 3 years, but it can take 3 years for him to feel completely fine.

Hell Caufield was scoring at a 48 goal pace while dealing with the pain.

I'm not too worried.
