I think so much of their return will come down to celery retained. A team can only hold celery for 2 contracts at a time - those contracts will almost certainly be Toews and Kane. After that, how many other teams can take on a player like him for 3 more years after this one at 4.4 per?

That said... even though we have a ridiculous amount of prospects I still see one of their names and my first reaction is "no". Need to get past that.

Portillo is in the mix as well. They think he is still coming. Adams told Portillo to go back to school. Yes you head that right.

Not gonna be able to be a budget team much longer. Even if they gave long term contracts to Cozens Dahlin Power and even if Cozens got 8mill a year we would still be 2mill under the floor. Dahlin's and Power's wouldn't even kick in for 2yrs. Sabres should not have any problem with there Cap for atleast 3yrs if they even do, so Murphy 's last year should be the only one that might hurt.
