Drury really messed up on the Buch trade. Put way to much value in Blais, even if he remained healthy.

it wasn't a salary dump as much as it was the fact that they signed Panarin and kreider long term, had Kakko and Lafreniere and expected big things from both, and they didn't want to commit long term to another winger

people don't remember but they were the finalists for Danault before he chose the Kings, and that was after the Buch deal

but they made a terrible deal for Buch
