He's ours - BINGO!
Patches goes on LTIR. Staal gone after the year. Would assume Jarvis needs to be part of the return. |
|
|

Especially if he is pursing a LT deal. Curious who amongst the contenders can fit in an 8-10 mil AAV on a LT deal - airjan23
Lemiuex is his agent. Rangers dont have a good track record with him |

$30 million in space next season and all the big pieces (except Jordan Staal) are all locked up already.
Gonna be a good one next year. |

Not sure who else they'd want but yeah, you're likely looking at Jarvis.
Losing him sucks but it's a lot easier to swallow if you have Svechnikov - Aho - Meier for the next 7 years.
Also I think Staal signs a smaller extension to stick around for a couple more seasons. |

Yeah, that's why I don't like it. You people already make enough correct decisions based off the numbers. I don't need you getting better. Not fun for me! |

Christmas break, then my wife had baby #2 so I took a couple weeks to be with her, then I had to go spend a week in Winnipeg for work. |

It’s shoulder surgery week in the NHL. Josh Norris now done for the year, shoulder, same injury as last season. |

It's a shame, because he's a good player.

Had him last year. Easily one of my best players. Was hoping he'd come back from injury and be the same. Hasn't been. |

Do you know for certain the surgery was botched? Could he have simply re-injured it? |

I remember seeing something that used those words, but from my experience, it shouldnt take 3 surgeries to fix a torn labrum in the shoulder from dislocation. |

yeah pretty sure he came out and said he was not happy with the team surgery staff the first two times and then went to his own doctor to repair it the last time and it seems to be much better |

Stuff like that is why I find it really odd people just put blind faith into NHL teams making the best decisions possible. |

I just dont know if we can make the money work without trading Chytil. If were not getting a center in return it definitely hurts our depth in the bottom 6. |

The only way i'd be interested in that/it would even be possible is if VAN retained 50% of the contract, of which he has 2 more years after this one. I think the likelihood of that is close to zero. Also, he's not been very good. I just don't see that even being remotely close to something that is being seriously looked at |
