Gotta give credit to the Habs, they're outworking the Leafs by a wide margin. - 13sundin13

This is embarrassing, they cant touch the puck, 4th line outplaying the first line. |

I was thinking that St. Louis went all Letterkeney coaching on them during the intermission
now it's Keefer turn to go all Letterkeney coaching on his team.

Leafa PP has no threat from the blue line.
None.
It sure makes it easier to defend against, they need to adjust in some way to stop being so predictable on the pp.

Matthews up there is a waste and far too predictable. Suzuki KNEW that pass was coming. They really need a better point shot and get in front of the net. We just throw it around the outside |

They need a bomb from the point, or just actually try a slapshot.
Nobody is afraid to come out and block a wrist shot, the velocity is not there and you have time to get down and block it vs. a clapbomb that could take your head off. |

Yep. Teams just zero in on the shooters (Matthews and Nylander) and assume (correctly) everyone else is just good to try and get the puck to them. A legit threat from the blue line would make it much better and I think they have guys who Have a decent clapper (Lilly and Sandin and even Gio) but it seems to be a coaching decision to me.
And a bad one.
And no goalie interference call on the Habs there or there when Habs ran him? WTF is that bullpoop? |

Its Poochy Pochmara. Guy was incompetent and couldnt ref in the AHL. Only guy worse was Dean Morton. Man we hated those two when they ended up as game officials. How they are in the NHL calling games is beyond me |
