The Kraken's luck bubble is coming to an end. Some of the goals and games won in the past 10 were extremely lucky. The bounces are starting to go the other way and don't be surprised if they go on a losing streak now. Game two of that losing tonight. |

Looking forward to a good game, going to need to stay out of the box, that Oilers PP is dangerous.

It's a sea of despair in there with a few of Nighthawk's pompoms floating around. |

Marwood you have no evidence for your statement. Just someone "spitting at the wall" hoping for it to stick. Your talking about a team that has not faced any pressure in their short life. The Kraken will just miss the cutoff to be the last wildcard team in March. |

Lucky, are you kidding me? These guys are good, they play with pace, they pressure the opposing defensemen, the Oilers are in tough here. |

Seattle has 5 points and 2 games in hand over Edmonton and Calgary for 2nd in the division. At this time of year it's extremely tough to make those points up with less games.
I'd be shocked if they aren't a top 3 team in the division by end of year.

I haven’t watched enough games to have a good feel for the team. I have seen them both win and lose some very high scoring games, their goals against is probably a bit concerning for some. I wonder if they are actually comfortable with Jones/Grew in net? If Jones gets hurt or his play slips with the workload do they have a third guy they could rely on?
I think they keep a top three spot in the division though, the teams chasing them are just awful. |

Nah, that poopshow about retooling with major surgery etc was it for me. On a day where they could be celebrating the life of one of the great Canuck heavyweights they do that. Did they even address the Pearson thing, I didn’t see any mention of it? Actually, don’t bother answering that, I honestly don’t care. |

Tough loss, not Jones’ best game. I get that McDavid is who he is, but that first goal. Someone needs to step up and take the body while he’s dangling.

Wait till they play the Canucks again. LOL. Some teams just don’t match well. The Oil showed you that.
Anyway, overall, Kraken are having a good season of consistency and balanced defensive play. |

It would help them make a deep playoff run. Would love to see Horvat wearing Seattle's sea foam & red alert colours. - Marwood

I’d rather keep the picks/prospects that it would cost in a Horvat trade. Monaghan from MTL likely cheaper.
I get that this seems like an opportunity to make a splash, but the team is pretty good, the division is a wasteland and as long as they can keep in the top 3 the path to the conference finals is pretty straightforward. And, it means that they will continue to get better with their prospects pushing for spots.
I see Kole Lind is > a point per game in the AHL so far this year. |

Monaghan makes more sense. I thought it would be nice to see Horvat playing for a divisional rival in their infancy, rubbing it in Vancouver's noses 6 times a year.
Either way, I'm sure Bo is anxious to get out of that hell hole. |
