GM played a stupid greedy game. If you recall he was great at the end of the season before his final year here. GM didn't move him and instead thought he'd continue and he'd get more by the deadline as a rental. It didn't work out. Sometimes just gotta get what you get and don't hedge.

I wanted Gudas because he’s nasty but Jesus he is also clearly stupid. If he was a Leaf he’d be in the box multiple times every game.
