A spokesperson for the Sabres said that the hire of John Roth has “nothing to do” with Kim Pegula's health or her absence from PSE affairs.

Best reply was that it's just a paper transaction.

I'm sure John Roth's 24 years of experience at Fidelity Mutual will ensure every Sabre employee has a good insurance package.

I think you could make quite a list of good coaches who failed in the job they were promoted to
- hubie

Hasn't been perfect
But I wouldn't say he has failed

We're exactly where we are supposed to be

Im not saying he failed but i would say expectations weren't met... id also say too much was expected in a first year role. There are others im defiantly more disappointed in

I personally dont see him getting a job, i dont think hes that good and i dont think his outburst sat well with owners
- hubie

Dorsey's outburst was a terrible look.

Wonder how terry p felt about the video.

I still think Dorsey is our oc next year.
But theres something fishy.
Could be just getting used to a new position?

I'd imagine Allen ain't happy there will be a change

Now the sabres
I'd force granoto to fire all assistant coaches
Get some NHL experience in there

Being a QB coach and the passing game coordinator is a lot different from calling the plays during the game. There is a learning curve for sure.

There isn't a riff between Josh and Dorsey. If anything there could be a riff between Dorsey and Diggs though.

So when Dorsey was QB coach
Allen loved him asked for him to get oc job
Now they don't like each other?

- Anderdog

Things havent been fluent this season.

Could be the elbow
Could be the communications with the new oc
Could have forgot how to read coverage

Sometimes you want something until you realize it sucks?

I just wonder if they see eye to eye.

Josh pretty much is calling the shots.
Barkley, brown and Beasley = allen gm

This is juicy. Diggs and dorsey.

That's a realistic possibility.

I like the way things are going, final 8.
Exactly what we wanted this season.

Expectations are so high though, and they aren't firing diggs or allen .

Wonder if knox was unhappy with dorsey 6 weeks ago?

Lots of guys didn't do as expected- Davis and McKenzie being my two big ones.

As for the Sabres.

If you ever disrespect Matt Freaking Ellis again I will personally pull the friend card hop on a plane to Florida and have a Admin board meeting to give you a forever ban.

Ellis is the way, the truth, and the life.

He looked really good on Sunday though. Seems the rumor about both ankles bothering him during the season might have some teeth to it.

Brian Daboll. I think we all thought that Allen got to the point where he could run things himself like a Rodgers or a Brady. He still needs to be coached up a bit, and there's nobody to reel him in when he starts to get wild, like he's been since just before Halloween. Even Andy Reid still needs to do that with Mahomes every once in a while. The Bills don't have a coach that can do that anymore. He's in New Jersey now.

My seat neighbor handed me his phone, it was a text was gabe's mom, explaining both ankles were hurting.

That's pretty inside information 19

Absolutely agree.

Management is giving josh lot's of say in personnel decisions. Maybe dorsey/ allen is too buddy buddy?

Dabol it was coach/player.
He could pull allen to the side and coachspeak.
Dabol is also an excellent coach.

Josh's gotten more clout with everything now

I don't think it's that complex or even that problematic. I think it's simply Dorsey's first year as a playcaller and the growing pains are showing. Every team is going to want to cater to its star quarterback in whatever way they can. Trust me, if Patrick Mahomes all of a sudden doesn't want to play for Andy Reid or Eric Bienemy anymore, they're gone tomorrow. It will never happen because they've won too much together, but he's got that kind of power too. They all do.

I see a offense that moved the Ball pretty much anytime they wanted. Sure there were hiccups and out of sync moments, most offense go through that at sometime during the year. Alot of are troubles on offense are self inflicted. Dropped Passes, stupid penalties, bad interceptions and fumbles. I saw a offense that scored a sh!t tone of points and probably should have scored a lot more if they didn't shoot themselves in the foot.
