Bengals banged up OL vs. Bills DL should be an interesting battle to watch.

And I am curious to see which Bills offense shows up. Clunky is a great characterization. Allen needs to take what’s given.

- Gr8daygo

Allen needs go play a clean game, no stupid turnovers with hero-ball decision making.
That said, Dorsey is no Daboll, he needs to be better, alot better.

Stop the run, force Burrows to throw into coverage with 7 guys looking for the turnovers.

Everyone seems to want to blitz the Bills to start the game or through out the 1st half. Need to find away to get are RB's involved in some screen passes or little swing passes. And do we see a trick play today by the Bills.

I’m the furthest thing from a huge VO guy, but being streaky on the third line 2PP vs streaky playing 19 min a night on top line and 1PP is such a huge difference

Olofsson on L3 is a huge asset when he’s on fire

This is a solid post.
I have said all along he's a 3rd liner.
He has a wussy playing style and disinterest in playing D, if he could at least fake an interest in those two capabilities he would be a member of the core.

Surprised the superior, invaluable ,4th line leadership tandem isn't helping him realize the value of a complete game.

Correct. The 1st goal was out of position. Aka his main issue when he plays

The 3rd goal was a weak wrister he should’ve tracked. Slightly screened yes. But the screen was far enough where he should’ve had it

Zegras 2nd goal. Wasn’t his fault. He got snipped

Agreed. If we have 1st few weeks of the season offense. We will be fine.

After Green Bay packers game offense. We will lose

I honestly don’t think the Bills win today.

Last bengals game they picked on tre white.

Is tre healthier than 3-4 weeks ago? (Or what ever it was)

Can the d line get pressure with 4?

And how will the offense run? Clunky like it’s been since the packers game? I get Allen’s stats are relatively the same as previous years

It just seems clunky and forced

We will see

if the d attacks instead of sitting back, and the turnovers are 1 or less

we win with ease

Agree with you. VO went the first month without a single hit and just generally avoided contact for the first half of the season. Now, he's driving the net occasionally and is more engaged physically. This isn't about a goal scorer being streaky, it's about effort and 'compete'.

It's been established on this board that 3 or 3+ GAA and your Goalie suck ass.
Oh, and determining a Dman's worth is completely dependent by his/hers offensive output..
Unless the guy is picked, or not selected Fantasy Draft then that and only that is the determining factor.

Catch up will ya

Just have to hope they don't let a hot streak change their long term plan.

Do we see a surprise visit by Damar today? Have him at the end of the greeting line at the tunnel as the players come out. Could be a nice little extra pump for the guys.

The Sabres ask on Olo will be fairly high, and it won't happen this year. You can say all you want about raising his value, but the Sabres are more likely to try to keep him. And rightfully so, given his minutes to production ratio, and where he slots in the pecking order like another poster said

Could, we shall see. Then decisions on other players will need to be made, cause they will have some younger players that could be pushing.

Kulich, Savoie, or anyone else won't be ready next year. They're likely to get a look with injury call ups but that's it

That means you're letting Olofsson walk for nothing next offseason?

We shall see. This TDL could be the perfect time to move him especially if they can get something that helps them in other areas. He is hot right now, who knows what happens with him next year and what are you willing to pay to keep him.

Olofsson is now 2nd in the entire NHL in even strength goals per 60 (min 250 minutes)

The other 9 in the top 10

McCann
Pastrnak
Hughes
Robertson
Rantanen
McDavid
Pettersson
Caufield.
Ovechkin

I mean seriously what are we even talking about anymore? He’s good
