I would really be shocked. The Isle are coming off a b2b. The arena is going to be primed. I would question Granato if they don't come out on fire.

Now, maybe a goalie makes 45 saves, but I can't imagine them not coming out on fire.

Bo Horvat is not the kind of acquisition the Sabres are looking for. The player, yes, the business part of it, no.

My feelings on all the forward prospects are well known. They're nothing but assets to bring in NHL players. This team does not need to add anyone under 24 or 25 years old. We need to add veterans who know how to play an 82 game season, and a bit of playoff exp would be a nice add.

I don't see how any rookie makes the NHL team better next year unless his name is Bedard.

Well if they didn't do it in the offseason, or the past 2 TDLs.. why would we think they do it now.

It would need to be a more complex move, like using Mitts to take on a similar player 2x as much, and a pending UFA or something.
