Has happened plenty in Edmonton over the years. See Mike Comrie, Mike Peca, Jaroslav Spacek, Chris Pronger, Dany Heatley, Michael Nylander, Marian Hossa, Ryan Whitney, Jesse Puljujarvi, and Adam Larsson are all players who have either refused to resign or requested trades away from the Oilers organization over the years. And I am sure I am missing many, those are just some well-known ones. Those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

These players couldn't resign with the Oilers because they never played for them. Pronger didn't want to leave, his girlfriend/wife did. I'm talking about franchise players that have been with the team for years wanting to leave.

Let’s hope the Flames are awake to start the game. Dallas just continuing their play from last years playoffs. There’s a reason that series went 7.
It’s kinda fitting that both Columbus and Florida are out of the playoff picture right now.. Tkachuk left for a better lifestyle, so I hope he’s happy. Johnny for a better family life which I’m sure he has. Neither have to worry about extended seasons.

It's tougher for small market Canadian teams to keep their talented players once they get to UFA. Despite what you think, Edm is in that camp too. Guess we'll see what happens when McDavid and Draisaitl in their last year.

I read a study on the interwebs that people who use excessive emojis do this because they think it will mask their insecurities.

The study was based on teenage girls, and it found that commonly these girls were insecure about their place in the social hierarchy.

I would be really interested to see if they do a similar study on males...I wonder what shortcomings they would find those men have.
