Keefe has historically and continues to play Rielly like he's a legit #1 minute muncher who can carry any pairing. He needs to be managed and held to expectations. Not what you want with your highest paid dman but it's reality.

I don’t mind him when he’s got a defensively capable guy like Brodie beside him one bit. Those two are a strong pairing when neither or trying to knock rust off. So with Brodie hurt Keefe should just bump Rielly down to the bottom pairing and play a defensively responsible 7th/8th guy.

its not just Marner, Willie was in the slot on a three on one, and put a pass through the middle instead of shooting on a grade A opportunity. Boston will shoot at every opportunity. Same with Timmins pass across the blueline that led to a goal. Shoot the (frank)en puck and after you finished shooting the (frank)en puck, shoot the (frank)en puck some more. A curling style goal is what the Leafs need. Dribble one to the net and someone pick up the loose change
