So does Chiarot have diplomatic immunity or something, because holy poop. - GreatGigInTheSky
He has a license to crosscheck.
Loved him in Montreal.
Love the haul we got for him even more, without knowing how good that pick will be.

I hate the fact this deal was so good for Montreal but I do love laughing at a GM making such a ridic trade

Second time we've seen the same play result in no suspension this season but you know, Matthews got 2 games. - Aaron_85
Like, the league knows that video and public record of Matthews' suspension exists, right? Comparisons can easily be shown.
It's like the MLB straight up lying when they suspended the Jays coach last season. They said that the coach walked into and bumped the Ump, when in the video they provided themselves, showed him standing still and the Ump walked into him bumping him. |

If the guy drafted plays only a handful of games for the Habs, it's still a massive win for them. |

Florida is in trouble.
And Knight is injured now so they gotta ride Bob who's been god damn awful. |

Maybe playing every game will get him in a groove? It's worked for him before. |

Earlier this week, it was reported the #sjsharks ask for Erik Karlsson is three first-round picks and Sharks will retain 18% of his contract.

The Leafs in Bobby McMann's 9:55 of 5v5 ice time last night out shot-attempted Detroit 13-4 and out shot them 10-1.
He was not on the ice for an expected goal against (100 xGF%).
Bobby McMann for Mcdavid? |

Good god.
I've got the Bruins/Kraken game on in the background here and I just watched Marchand pitchforking the Kraken goalie as there as a scramble and the puck was under him.
Kraken D man grabs the rat from behind and rips him off the pile as he deserved to be.
That loser Jack Edwards whining about why there wasn't a penalty to Seattle on the play. Man he's the biggest homer going and such a moron. - Cush29
I cannot stand Jack Edwards or the old buffalo announcer.
Jack is complete garbage. |

Agreed and I'm glad Boston lost the game.
I also hope Pasta leaves in the off season because some other team steps up and offers him more than Boston. That would be sweet! - Cush29
I have a bad feeling he will sign with Boston for lower than expected. |

I like Ralph and Bonesy on the radio as they are leaf homers but they do a good job of admitting when a leaf makes a play like that though. Which is part of the reason why I like them. I like having homer announcers but ones that can at least admit players of their team can do wrong. - Aaron_85
I dont fine Bonesy too much of a homer though, really knowledgeable and excited for the leafs. But I dont find him to be an off the deep end homer.
But I dont listen every game. |

By homer he's definitely a leaf fan and doesn't really hide it or try to temper that. He's not quite Zezel level but they share a drink.

So why actively make their team worse in acquiring Chiarot? - GreatGigInTheSky
They thought they would be playing the Leafs where he could crosscheck and interfere with impunity. Ran into the Tampa Refs Lightning |

Tampa is the only team to eliminate Chiarot in the playoffs in the last 2 years.

Glad Garland got a penalty for hurting Sergachev's hand with his face.

I'm guessing Sergachev's hand was fine, as his glove would have protected it. |

Well, Sergachev was fined - but that should be more than a fine. The DOPS remains terrible and inconsistent under Parros. Which was like the DOPS under Quintal, Shanahan, Campbell and Burke . . . speaking of which, how the ever loving f* does Campbell still have a job with the NHL? He's literally the picture beside the word 'bumhole' in the dictionary. |
|
|
|
DOPS is utterly useless and the reffing is at an all time incompetency which is saying something. League really needs to get on top of this and hammer things out. Start making the refs work at their craft more and train in the offseason as hard as players do (well most do). If they aren't cutting it get them demoted down and work their way back up.
