Granato was just very frank with us on the goalies and going back to UPL today: "If the three guys are ready, the edge is to him. He's in a groove and he's winning."

That's really the first time we've heard that and it's excellent. #Sabres

This poop is literally day to day, and I guess that's what you want to see from UPL, but he's been league average which means the other guy isn't.

We are winning in spite of UPL not because of him... in his games this year he has a franking GAA of 3.43 and a save percentage of .896. The ONLY reason he is winning is we are averaging 4.533 goals per game with him in the net.

We need a real NHL Goalie.

They mainly grabbed him (imo) so he can be the #7 and the kid Kierstad could go back to Charlotte and play big minutes instead of sitting in NHL press boxes.
Thought they might play him today, but idk if they’ve even had any practice time since he joined the team.

He's a young, inexperienced goaltender who has the trust of his teammates. He's taking 40+ shots in a lot of games too.

They have and your coach said he wont slot in above any of the RHD you have playing.

I was just watching Anton Lundell flip a puck on his blade. He was tossing it 5 feet up with the puck on end, catching it with the puck still on end, and kept flipping it up never letting the puck go flat. When it went back flat after 5 flips up he started tossing it about 15 feet up before he dropped it. Never looked difficult at all.

7 games he's faced more than the average. 5 games of 40+ shots against. Only the Minnesota game did he have under .900. The other 4 he was above .925. Two of them being above .950sv%

I forgot who posted that, but it was clearly reactionary. However, losing a playoff game at home as a 14 point favorite is inexcusable. Multiple people would be losing their jobs had they lost yesterday. Maybe not Beane, McDermott, Allen or even the coordinators, but there would be some definite organizational turnover.
