Interesting.... one can take the survey as many times as one likes via your link. One wonders if they're all counted.

Cozens with a career high 14 goals and 40 points at the halfway point of the season. Kid is so impressive. All that work he put into his shot has really paid off. Not Tage-level elite or high velocity like Vic, but wow is his shot quick and accurate. I can't even imagine what type of player he's going to be in another season or two as he continues to get stronger.

Hank - any chance we can get a Sabres at the mid-point blog with a breakdown on player stats so far?

Also, as horrible as 46 was last night, his play on the GWG was superb. I don't know what was more impressive, the pass considering who it came from or the skill displayed on Okposo's goal.

Cozens also directed Lyubushkin to pass it to Okposo who put his stick up a bit to also call for it.

Excellent communication on that play.

I'm still somewhat shocked at Okposo's tip. It may the best deflection goal of his career.

This sounds like a statement that would have been made 4 or 5 years ago about the Bill's, except the Yes would have been a No.

Trust the Process.

The Build is going just fine and is unfolding before our eyes, one which we will enjoy for the next decade. The boys are learning valuable lessons now. The Organization is gaining valuable information about their players and prospects. This is all good.

Adams gets discussed enough that a yes or no vote is defendable.

Id imagine everyone would votes yes on Granato.

I cannot be confident in the roster until a goalie is manifest. Maybe that is UPL. Don't know, ut im not confident in the roster yet.

Kim Pegula was/is the team President. As far as I know, the last time Terry said anything was his speech at RJ night. I have confidence the owner is the 5th richest in the NHL. I don't know what the heck their status is though.

Other than the tailgate, the NFL has a product that is superior on TV than live in person. Especially at highmark stadium.

I watched the 1st half of the Chargers - Jags game last night, then switched to some BS program to fall asleep to.

I used to be pretty high on Hebert, but having watched him several times this season I am less than impressed. His style of side arm throwing kills so many chances by have the ball batted down, ruining his efficiency.

On the flip side, SD's D was killing Lawrence...admittedly sometimes getting away with a couple of illegal and/or highly questionable calls on pass defense resulting in turnovers...they choked-out the short passing game completely that frustrated Lawrence in the 1st half.

Wish I would have stayed up to see the complete reversal. SD has had several games of choking this season, one has to wonder what the hell is going on.

Mine was
Yes, Yes, Yes, No.
Our difference is the roster...I based my yes in where they are in the stated rebuild process of this Front Office, not on if this roster is SC contender. In a Yes/No only choice, I'm more Yes than No's.

Given time to think a bit about Ownership, the best thing to happen is Ownership's seemingly lack of focus (interference) ... coincidentally is when the turnaround has really shown much better.

So, we'd see him in 4 seasons?

There's not a pick or prospect in this organization who should be viewed as anything more than an asset to acquire NHL assets now. Perhaps Levi can be viewed differently, but he's 2 seasons from being a good NHL goalie IF WE'RE LUCKY.

I can't even wrap my head around being worried about our 1st this season, next season, or the season after that. We need 25+ year-olds on this team. We don't need more children.

It’s becoming Stockholm Syndrome at this point. Rebuilds have kidnapped us and now we love being in one.

I cannot imagine looking at mock drafts anymore.

Who on this board is talking about future drafts? Wanting to see the kids continue to develop is not the same as being infatuated with rebuilds. Anyone here would be thrilled with a hockey trade, especially it involves trading future picks.

They will have made 6 first round picks in three years. They made 11 selections overall last year.

This year's three 2nds should be burning a hole in Adams's pocket

If the Sabres are sniffing around at the trade deadline I would be really pissed if Adams didn't atleast throw them a bone. But he had opportunities in season that could have helped and didn't do anything. It looks to me he's riding this ship out and seeing how these kids react. So you might as well take 1 more year and balance your prospect pool and draft some size and some Dman, and go to the next phase.

No realistic trade or trades would have put us in a playoff spot. Points are really hard to make up.

You would have traded mitts and olofsson.

I trust KA

I think one of the ironic things about Adam's FA signings from last year is that the one vet he brought in is the worst guy on the team.

They should, but I wouldn't spend more than one of them on someone that is a pure rental. I suspect that he is working the phones hard and that at some point the Coyotes are going to ask for the final bids for the Chicken man.

I agree but I think you could get someone pretty damn good who has term on a contract for a pair of 2nds and b prospect like Bloom, Kiskov or Nadeau.

Ok, I did read back a few pages to see what was said. I think there is a context to the statements that were said. This draft is widely considered to be ridiculously deep. In that sense a pick at 15 this year is worth way more than a pick at 15 last year. Similarly, you're not going to see picks traded that are not top 10 protected because of the quality of the draft. I'd be a little less likely to want to part with the first but I'd do it in a second in a hockey trade (assuming we don't finish bottom 10).
