Philly playing better lately. They beat the Caps tonight. A few weeks ago I thought for sure their pick would be in top 5 of the 2nd round. If they keep up their decent play it may be closer to 10.

We have a goaltending problem and a middle-6 problem.

Seriously our worst defenseman other than Bryson is Pilut at a -4.

Bryson is a bleeding wound that won’t heal. So are Mitts and Olo.

The 8th scoring defense in the league isn’t “elite” though- neither is the 7th, or 6th or 5th….

Heck, the Bills had the top scoring defense last year- and i wouldn’t have called them “elite”

And there’s tons of examples of really good defenses losing the Super Bowl- or not even getting there

It’s absolutely impossible to effectively argue there’s just one way to do it

Jimmy Goroppolo was a dropped INT away from playing in his second SB in three seasons last year.

Whoever the hell Brock Purdy is very well could take San Fran deep again this year.

Matthew Stafford was never elite, but give him weapons and an elite defence and he will win you a SB.
