I'm almost 100% positive that it was not either one of them who noticed it/was probably picked up by someone else (camera crew, Dave, etc) and given to them to talk about. Doesn't matter either way. My only real point was that I don't really remember anyone else besides me mentioning it at the time and I was certainly not making fun of them for it. Just arguing against another thing that doesn't exist for some reason

Sam more than Joe. Joe still used to get jobs on national playoff games when NBC had the rights. Sam makes him so much worse.

After this I am (hopefully) done with this kind of talk on here but I'll say it louder for the people in the back. I explained in detail where and when i gave the guy credit. I also explained that maybe i have an irrational dislike of him. But none of that takes away from the fact that I, personally, do not think he infuses much of a structure, do not like the way he he handles lineups sometimes, and i hate his smug ass press conferences. If we win, awesome. I see plenty of reasons to be hopeful. I also see plenty of areas for improvement. But again, who the hell am I? Just a Joe Schmoe who never played the game.

All of this is to say that yea, you will hear more complaints than praise for him because it's weird to like... praise a coach for things that happen in real time. "Great goal, GG really played the line at the right time!" It's silly.

As much as we all make fun of Sam on here, I really kind of hope he still gets to do this for some time longer. He's obviously a legend, very likable, and doing this is almost certainly helping keep his brain active enough to slow down any cognitive decline he may be experiencing. If it gets to a point where it's really bad, then yea.

I will miss Sam and his nose when he’s gone I think it’s cute when he messes up. Depends how old you are I guess to really appreciate him. He was the best in the biz in the 90s and ‘00s

Oh yeah, but Butch is hilarious cause he has no idea whats going on and can never pronounce anyones name. I agree with the pickle, Pens and Boston so much worse.
