Major meaning an addition of a player that is considered by all to be of high quality, at either forward or defense.

They've so constantly tried to slow play things while preaching patience and development, that I find it hard to believe they'll pull off a move like that, especially signing a UFA like Severson, for example.

Anyone but Comrie...you have to know when you made a mistake, owe up to it, and move on. We all make mistakes, but most people learn from them and move on. When Comrie lost more games in Rochester and played at the .800 level, you don't reward him by bringing him up to the big league. Was he ready? NO!...and he will never be ready. The proof is in the pudding.

Moreover, UPL was sick alright on how they treated him. He wins games and then send him down to Rochester. Comrie loses in Rochester and they reward him and send him up to Buffalo. Of course, UPL was sick. Sick of this bull ship.

Problem with the system we run, are D are left on a Island by themselves, once there quick transition game is taken away, there game is taken away. The book is out, get in on the Sabres D with a quick heavy forecheck and pressure and take away the boards and you probably have a good shot a beating them.

If that's the book, then why did Seattle only have 22 shots? They didn't outplay us. They scored 4 goals on an ahl goalie. Did they slow us down a little? Yeah, sure, they're a really good team, but we were better except where it counts.

Yes, I want my defense to play stronger after Dahlin and Sammy, but they're not equipped to. Lyubushkin was supposed to but he's a lesser Risto. We need a few saves. And I put the emphasis on few.

If either Talbot or Husso are playing for us we're tied with or ahead of Tampa for the 3rd spot in the Atlantic right now.

Could be, and can go back years on my posts and have been calling for better Goaltending. But at this point they don't have that or don't know what they have in there Goaltending. If we can see it so can they. When you have a weak spot in most cases you try and make other areas stronger to help cover that. Sabres haven't done that in the defensive zone. Who cares? Adams needs to make some hockey trades ASAP, starting with Krebs, Mittelstadt, VO, and Sammy.

He also needs to do whatever it takes to get a legitimate NHL goalie as well.

This team is a simple fix, if you are going to play a wide open style of hockey (and we do) your top 4 defense has to be solid and you have to have a GD Capable NHL Caliber Goaltender. GMKA recognized that when he tried to trade for Matt Murray instead at the end of the song we were left seat less and had to settle for Commie and AARP Anderson.

We will win games just because we can out score most teams but this team will go Nowhere without fixing the D & Goalie.

Literally the only reason UPL has a winning record is because we average 4 goals a game. So we if we are not perfect and score a shat ton of goals we lose, just like yesterday. Yesterday was a game were if we had a capable goalie we should of won.
