I'd give him a 6.5/10 to this point but he really needs to make a move. He has an unreal amount of draft capital and prospect depth.

He never weaponized his cap space, if he is so intent on the draft he could have taken a bad contract or two on players that would be UFA's. Look at the amount of draft picks Arizona has, could use those extra draft picks as trade capital at the very least.
How could you go into this season with Fitz and Bryson on this team?
I know you can't do it all in one big swoop but he hasn't even chipped away at adding better players to this team.
The only thing I give him credit for is holding to his asking price on Eichel. Hall duped the organization big time with a full no movement clause. It's the GM's job not to let that happen especially on a 1 year deal.

We have tons of draft Capital
Could always have more i guess, but bringing in NHLers to get a mid round pick would’ve just kept guys like Quinn & Peterka in the AHL- which NO ONE wanted

They’re our 6/7 guys- not the big deal you’re making it
Young guys who looked decent (at times at least) who they wanted to see more of

Great job Kevyn Adams...demoralized the team last night by sending UPL down for winning games and then bringing up .818 minor league losing Comrie so the team can lose games again and miss the playoffs for yet another year. Really?...just when I was going to buy tickets and start going back to the games. You just make it impossible to be a Sabres fan.

He's not 19, he's got 4yrs of college hockey. And yes he would probably start at 3LD at that point. And we don't need to use Johnson to get a partner for Power, we have plenty of assets. And Johnson could take a year, but it would be more beneficial to this team if he signed. Only way I would trade his rights is if he says he won't sign and it's worth more than a late 2nd. It's not like other teams don't know that he can walk into FA so that could be tough.
