Literally what they need. Letting him go after 5 years of development and almost no NHL games was not ideal - sbroads24
Yup. I'd be furious if not for the unexpected haul Risto returned |

I guess you can blame the goalie and ignore the fact the team is defensively sh!t |

For that matter, so is William Carrier.

Protecting Ullmark over Carrier was the right call despite the outcome |

Maybe it was piss poor planning by management. They had to know Risto was going so why not plan accordingly. Especially knowing you need RD if you are planning on shipping one out

Oh I agree.
They had a chance to trade Risto for Ehlers years before and refused to pull the trigger. I'm just saying the Risto return eases the sting |

Sure, expansion took 2 pretty solid pieces from them. Life goes on.

Would be nice if Adams had any stones whatsoever and would make a trade like that |

I agree, not arguing your point.
The board can roast me but Adam's hasn't impressed me as a GM

Sting would be eased even more if that Philly 2nd helped bring in say Murphy or Fabbro. |

The faith in Tage and the extension is impressive.
Other than that most of this core is the previous GM’s |

I'd give him a 6.5/10 to this point but he really needs to make a move. He has an unreal amount of draft capital and prospect depth.
It's time to take a shot |

Sure if Johnson let's them know he isn't signing I would be up for trading his rights. But I would much rather keep and sign him. Kid has turned into a very good 2 way defenseman that plays both sides well. - Buff36
No sure thing that’ll translate to the NHL though
If he gets us a legit partner for Power now,
I’d take that in a heartbeat over him playing 3rd pair minutes here
And he won’t even be here right away most likely
He’s probably spending time in Rochester |

Yes he will, he won't sign unless he starts here. |
