Fitz hasn't been playing. Think that ones easy to read into.
Just have a feeling a trade is coming. This situation didn't suddenly hit them, they've had time to prepare. - Lunaion
Fitzgerald to NJ for past consideration...? |

Sure, but they've made it clear that they don't necessarily have favorites and that they don't want to lose any of them. Now that I've thought about it, Clague might be the easiest play. That would be a shame as I think we can (pretty much) agree that he is better than Bryson and Fitz.

Why is Clague the easiest one to waive? |

"Easiest" in the sense that they clearly value the guys that have been here for a while over the guys that haven't. While I spend a good amount of time defending KA here I think they go a bit overboard with "their guys".

fitz can't be the tradee.. he has no value, what type of trade are you thinking? any trade would have to involve one or two roster players if we aren't waving anyone. |

When you have to say they don't play favorites, it's usually because they are playing favorites.
Bryson has been their worst defender going all the way back to camp. 1.85m reasons to play him.

Got it.
I'm curious what the chances are that any of Fitzgerald, Clague, or Bryson would actually get claimed if waived.
Probably quite small for any of them. |

Agreed - no value at all. We could trade him for someone else's Fitz. Joker is also coming back later this week so I would expect 2 moves this week.

Watch them play the game of sending one of Krebs, Quinn, or Peterka down alternating for a bit.
What a horrible message that will send - Stripes77

I think it's a real possibility.
Donnie saying UPL was 'likely' tonight is interesting wording.

Don't know if anyone is dealing with significant injuries. Clague has played well, makes nothing, and has no term. He's the textbook claim, if you need someone.

with joker coming back wouldn't we need 3 for 1 type trade if we aren't going to waive the fitz |

there is a limit of call ups after trade deadine
so something will have to happen for season long solution |

Is he ever definitive about the starter in the morning? I don't think so but I don't hear many of his stints on GR.

It's 4 recalls, but I believe it's players, not individual recalls.
Rotating out waiver-exempt players isn't a long term solution. It's kind of BS even for a night.

I don't listen to him. Wasn't his thing supposed to be not announcing at all?
Saying it, with some reservation, just seemed odd to me.

This is why it’s silly to worry about it.
And like I said yesterday, if one of them gets claimed, chances are we will have the chance at claiming them again when they’re inevitably Waived by whatever team claims them |

Surprised Anderson didn't blow a hip or hammy with that one toe drag save. Twisted pretty awkwardly. |

Also, not limited to 23 after the deadline. Still seems like way too long to let this drag on.
