For starters this defense is terrible...get the puck in on the goalie and they can't clear the front of the net besides just tie the guy up. How many of the 9 goals against vs Minn and Phi were scored in tight? They have gotten 3 goals from the D after Dahlin's 12. The D has not helped on offense at all. If I never see Bryson in a Sabres uniform can't happen soon enough. Joker is an upgrade over Cleague for sure but becoming brittle so maybe it's time for him to go..

I think it's time to break up the 2nd line...it's going on a month since we've seen a goal from Quinn/Peterka. Move Olofsson up and Quinn down to the third line. If the top line doesn't score this team is in trouble.

Finally when is the BS artist known as our GM going to make a hockey trade to help his youngsters out. The team can not be entirely built off the draft. This team needs some size and toughness for starters. Why wait to March when it may be to late. The only hockey trade he has made was the Eichel trade which was forced on him. Hall played them big time and again another forced trade.

In writing this, it isn't about losing last night but it's about the rest of the season. I don't think it's enough to just have an exiting team and think we the fans should be satisfied with it. They are close to a wild card spot at the very least and the team and the fans deserve better...it's been a long drink since we are this close at the midpoint of the season that management should be satisfied and expect we the fans to be happy.

I'm not making this up, the Buffalo Sabres have said continually they base Craig Anderson starts on when hes ready to play and how many days off he needs and the fact they don't want him to play when he hasn't had a morning skate beforehand.

And if that's not correct, then explain to me why he has starts against Boston and Carolina and New Jersey who was top of the league at the time.

I highly doubt that Adams expected Thompson and his line to be producing at this clip. I think they expected good seasons out of them, but not at this rate. If they did, I would like to think the Ben Bishop move wouldn't have been on the table. The line of Cozens, Peterka, and Quinn has had some good nights, but they've also had some nights where they're completely non-existent, if not outright bad. The bottom two lines still do nothing for you. While I would like to see Adams make some moves to help this team now, I just don't see it. This group doesn't seem like one to change their plan, which was not full of expectations to begin with. They just happened to run into the best-case scenario with more guys than they thought.

6 k was in rochester for those first 2 starts


if anderson was their guy he would be playing tonight against the better seattle team and instead 6k is playing and andy got the dumpster flyer team

it really doesn't matter if you have 8 days off or 9 days off between starts

Curious to see it play out. Waivers are 24 hours, so not sure how UPL plays tonight if that's all they are doing. Might be something I'm unaware of.

Clauge hasn't been bad to me. He didn't stand out at all to me last night which I would say is a good thing.
