Goal #1 is on one Sabre and one Sabre only: Don Granato. He chose to put the Jost line, with Lyubushkin and Bryson on the ice for a defensive zone draw.
Win the draw, puck gets to Boosh, and he fails to get it out of the zone opting for a soft pass to a covered Olofsson who, surprise surprise, doesn't get to the puck before a Flyer is already cycling it to where it's back down in our corner. Bryson is there first, but is easily taken off the puck. The Flyers do a classic low cycle, and three Sabres watch McEwen calmly walk in and score a garbage goal.
That's on you, coach. - lacaprup
Maybe the wrong Combo on the ice at that time. But I didn't see Donnie flubbing the puck on the side boards or getting knocked of the puck, or having a cup of coffee in front of the net as that Philadelphia player walked in at sat at the dinner table. |

Goal #3
Dylan Cozens and Owen Power would like that one back.
Power, in fact, looks like he got into my weed stash and was just drifting around. Dahlin would have laid a bonechushing hit on TK who caught Cozens' pass. He was dead to rights and Power gave him an old fashioned as he skated in for the first chance on Andy. |

Nope, but we could have all guessed that would have happened with those 5 on the ice at that moment. |

Sabres are soft in front of there net on most nights. They need to clean up the D zone. Go along way into helping win games |

Sure, I could be wrong but wasn't there a icing just before that goal. |

Just bad play by Lyubushkin and along the boards. Lyubushkin has been a disappointment, I thought he would help at 3rd pair. He's been a disaster. |

Goal #4
Owen Power must have really soft hands because there he was giving another old fashioned to a Flyer, this time Wade Allison, as he calmly collected a garbage goal.
Woof. Forget this one, kiddo.

Throw that one in the garbage. I have confidence they'll bounce back tonight. They've earned the benefit of the doubt with their play this season. Haven't seen a clunker like that in a long time.
First goal was brutal but to be expected - you just can't expect 71 and 37 to cover the Flyers goon line in front of the net. Too much to ask from those two.
Team just looked gassed, like they all went to the Bills game the day before or something. |

Disagree. Bryson had boosh wide open on the left side with no Phily players near by. Makes that pass and its out of the zone. For some reason he decides to hold it and loses it on the boards
Absolutely no reason to not get it to boosh.

Yeah, that's on Bryson, but the coach knows because all of us do Bryson is gonna make the wrong play a high % of time. Especially when on the ice with 4 other ? defensive players.

Our 3rd pairing gets caved most shifts. Upgrade him and probably Joker, we're in a playoff spot even with shotty tending. |
