Luukkonen will still play significant games with the Sabres.

Not going to over react to this until we see how they handle the next week or so.

If you've been going to the games or watching them at all, you would not be suggesting upl not be the goalie right now.

Well, yes - that is why I used the word regressed. Either way - we will almost certainly need a third goalie this year or next. It would be foolish to toss away either Comrie or Anderson right now.

Once they activated Comrie the emergency loan on UPL expired so they were locked in.

I'd bet a lot that they carry 3 goalies starting...well tomorrow maybe.

I think today's move should not be unexpected or an indicator of the future. He wasn't starting tonight so he might as well be sent down in a paper transaction.

it seems like anderson physically can not play more than once a week

with the brutal schedule coming up, he should be the odd man out

but this would be bad for the vibes

4 games a week for the next 3 weeks. Perhaps Comrie gets two, Anderson and 6K both get 1.

The guy with the 5th best save percentage in the NHL should be the odd man out?

Who would you rather:

Jesus and Leon or Tage and Dahlin?

- lacaprup

Right now, Tage and Dahlin. More long term potential and won’t cost so much that we cannot afford anyone else

Why the hell wasn't 6K going to get the start tonight? He's their goalie. This better not (frank) things up now. Terrible decision.

yes when they play 5 games in 7 nights and one of the goalies is forced to play 4 of the 5 because the he needs 5 days recovery time for each start

1. He can't play every night
2. It is a paper transaction

Rest? Should be able to beat the flyers with any of the three goalies. Wouldnt surprise me if Luukkonen started tomorrow against Seattle.

1. Yes he can, he's young and they didn't play last night.
2. Ok, hope that's right. Comrie sucks and this better not mean he starts tomorrow. 6K should've gone tonight and try to make sure you get 2 points from a bad Flyers team.

4 games in 7 nights. If you're shooting for the doomsday scenario, 6 games in 9 nights is what I'd go with. Paul Hamilton already said 6K will get games, sounds like they'll call him up here and there. Hopefully they waive Bryson when they do, he's twice the blackhole as the guys on the 3rd line.

Well I was right with UPL being sent down as a paper transaction.

We’ll see if I go 2/2 with UPL starting 6 of the next 12 in Buffalo with Anderson getting 2 more (after tonight) and Comrie getting 3 starts

Did they waive anyone today? Unless a trade is coming, that'll be the signal (or that Joker is back).

I think we'll hear something tomorrow. In order of likelihood I think:

1 Fitz waived
2. Hino/Asplund trade
3. Hino/Asplund waived
4. The slightest knock to Okposo or Bryson tonight landing them on IR

I dont think they want to lose either fringe forward though cause theyve got okay replacement level numbers.
