Fitz, clague and asplund seem like the obvious choices for waivers.

Only one way to find out about Clague: Play him on the 3rd pair when Jokiharju returns.

That means waiving Fitzgerald, and sitting one of Bryson or Lyubushkin, as both have not been good.

I've seen enough from Clague so far that indicates it's not just Power that is making him look good.

Lyubushkin, our big splash off season signing, was signed as a bottom guy. He's not good at the hockey thing, but he was signed by the current GM. Doubt the can a guy they just threw $ at this offseason.

That brings us to clague. Who was also a free agent signing. Much lesser degree ....
I think he's the odd man out IMO

Agreed on all counts. There isn't a single jerkoff on the team. They are all likable and seem to love each other. Also, unlike 20 years ago when I would see Vanek, Max, Miller, Campbell, Peters, Mair, et al out on Chippewa Street regularly, these guys are watching hockey and playing video games together. I think that bodes well for them long term. Love seeing our superstar married with family. Love seeing Krebs getting hitched. Buffalo isnt a great city for guys who want to be bachelors, but WNY is steal to raise a young family opposed to NYC or Chicago etc.
