Think he’ll take a little less a season to get the full 8 years? Honest question.
- Dozzer

Imo, i dont want him on an 8 year contract.
But he may do that if offered.

8 years knowing he gets to play with AM?

What if he only gets 2-3 year offers or low AAV 5-6 year deals because he has looked meh when he hasn't played with Matthews?

He'll have to take a lot less to get that, it's a big commitment to a player who isn't a star.

Big skilled power forward with a great shot and good hands bust

The team that signs him is going to be excited.

I watched The Lego Movie and it ruled.

Also I'm rereading Brothers Karamazov and it seems true that it hits harder when you revisit it years later.

If he cut it low enough it may be worth it… but that’s pretty low

I didn’t mind him in a checking role… his offence died off significantly but he played rough enough to make the line usable.

Yeah, with him I see it being the same contract value overall but more about how many years to pay it out.

For a low pick and C prospect....trading for an injured ROR could be a bold move that could prove to be beneficial come playoffs.
- Fakepartofme

Low pick = waterbottle
C Prospect = Bag of pucks

Sure I'd do that but I'm not sure St. Louis will.

Guess we will see - I have a feeling some GM will overpay on the gamble he will be back and healthy for playoffs. I just hope if that's Dubas ROR doesn't come back and end up as helpful as Foligno was in the playoffs.

Bunting will be 28 and has made no $ in his career. This is his one contract to make some dough from playing with superstars. He’ll try to cash in.

signed him to a 4 year deal but only one of those years were played out then the buy out came.

he'll get 4M per. Lots of great players with same stats but make 7-8. Bennett a decent comparable.

I’ve been hanging with my 87 year old father all week, who has COVID.

He’s absolutely fine, other than a bit of a dry cough. But tonight is his last dose of Paxlovid, and apparently after that he make take a little dip.

Yeah, pretty close to that. I don’t see him back. They’ll try to replace him with Joe College and sign guys like Kampf, Holmberg, Timmins and Samsonov if things work out.
