Whoa whoa whoa. I have been wrong about him this season but he was trash after the trade and playoffs. Which was in part why he got 2 first round picks. He has to show up the rest of this season and the playoffs.

People can't tell me last year "wait for next season" when I tried pointing out the here and now and now turn around and point out the here and now and not think of the future. He COULD continue to be good but let's wait and see until the playoffs.

Nylander missed practice with illness. I'm going to see if he needs some homemade chicken soup. 🥰

What's wrong is if his teammates don't call him Bagel.

I hope Keefe picks him for a lameout attempt again, it was a sound coaching decision from Keefe as usual.

I didn't mind the move at all. The finish wasn't great. In many instances great goalies and players make coaches look like geniuses. Just ask Scotty Bowman what he thinks about Dryden and Lafleur. Way too early to say that Sandin is going to make Keefe look like he's on his way to becoming a member of the Mensa club.

I knew a guy who was in Mensa. He married a mentally disabled girl. Then he intentionally drove his car into the back of a firetruck to get disability and painkillers. Ended up overdosing on opiates. Thanks for letting me share.

basically the difference is PP time, one gets a ton the other gets almost none

I would buy low on Laf if given the opportunity. He has a bit of a power forward profile and their game usually takes a bit longer to develop over a pure skill player.
