Oh I never begrudge a guy taking the money in that case. I just don't see how the leafs afford him and why it can't be replicated for a third time.

That’s what I’m thinking too, the guy will likely cost $4.5+ million which the leafs will have to turn down.

I honestly see another Hyman when it comes to him, signing elsewhere for far more money on a 7 year deal that takes him into his mid thirties.

I even had my most recent grand mal seizure this morning and what has happened to Hamlin still makes me feel terrible for the guy.

He was given CPR and defibrillated on the field. His heart had stopped. I can’t remember the term but if you get a blow to the chest in a certain spot this can happen. The biggest question is how quickly they were able to restart his heart.

He’s been stabilized and most likely had his temperature lowered in the hospital to protect his brain. It might be a day or two before they know for sure the full nature of his recovery.
